Tell us about this design.
I was Inspired to create this design by NPH's character and my friend Brian's beer snobbery. I wanted to make a simple yet elegant label tee and just happened to be watching a marathon of HIMYM on dvd. Then came the important questions... Would this be a Legendary Lager or a Legendary Ale? After much talk and reference Brian and I figured out that a good Ale takes quite a while to brew so if you want a Legendary Ale then your gonna have to wait for it!
Where are you from?
I'm from NJ where reality is solid television programming.
How did you get started designing t-shirts?
I've been designing licensed and generic tees for over 2 years now. However I started designing pop culture tees for daily sites roughly ten months ago. Around that time was my first ever print acceptance which was here at TeeFury. Once that ball started rolling it really took off and my obsession with making new tees grew every day.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
I'm sure you heard this before but... NEVER give up. Keep practicing, keep working and never stop creating new stuff. You never know what could happen and good things will happen as long as your are passionate and work hard.
What would be your dream job?
My dream job would be a clothing company owned by me that employs all of my artist friends. The office will look a lot like Tom Hank's apartment in the movie "Big." We would take video game breaks and take trips to the comic store often.
What is your favorite thing about comedy?
That awkward moment in the movie theatre when you burst out laughing during a scene that wasn't meant to be funny and you just hear your own echo....
What would your ideal house be like?
My ideal house would probably be a fantasy factory. It would have a cement skate park, a tattoo shop, a gym, a petting zoo, a chocolate fountain, Arcade room, 200 slip and slides, a play-doh factory, a frozen yogurt bar, a movie theatre, a pool filled with chocolate covered gummy bears, the world's largest pez dispenser and it will host the 2016 Olympic Games.
Tees vs. suits: which would win the battle?
I think Tees win all day! Sure people look their best when wearing a well fitted suit but a tee can tell so much more about a person.
What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?
As a kid I think I gravitated towards cartoons the most. My two favorite of all time where Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles. I loved the live action movies of course but the cartoons were what I looked forward to the most every Saturday morning.
What are a few of your favorite websites?
My favorite websites would have to be the following .... IMDB, Facebook, ShirtPunch, DesignByHumans, TeeFury, DeviantArt, Qwertee, RIPT, Ebay, Redbubble and Woot!
