    Bountee is Direct To Garment printing - think about running a t-shirt through your inkjet printer.

    This is the first time, that we know of, this tee has actually been produced and screen printed (with real soft hand plastisol!).

    The quality of our printing and tee is much nicer than anything you can get from cafe press, zazzle, mysoti (which is Bountee).

    As far as having a Halloween tee today - we decided against this because we did a few halloween designs about two weeks ago and figured today no one would buy a halloween tee because they would say "nice halloween design, to bad this wasnt up 3 weeks ago so I could actualy WEAR it on halloween" or something similar.

    I look at T-shirt sites this way: There is NO WAY IN HELL that every shirt could appeal to every person who comes to the site. It's just not possible. And think about it--if every T-shirt did appeal to you, your bank account would be screaming for mercy.

    I won't be buying this one. Hope those of you who like it wear the heck out of it. :)

    Er, Halloween-obsessed people, please read Layne's comments ^ I think they make a lot of sense. Halloween is one day... actually, correction, one night! You wouldn't even get a chance to wear it! Or are you already planning ahead for next year? Sheesh. Anyway, this is something cool you could wear anytime.

    I would like to note that TeeFury doesnt not have a transporter to teleport you a shirt in time for Halloween. I would go as far as to say, you would complain if it was a Halloween shirt for that reason.

    Besides, transporters use energy from dilithium crystals, and those are not available here on Earth. Using even the most powerful energy source available the range would still probably be limited to about 1200 kilometers, which wouldn't allow shipment to all locations.

    i have no problem with the shirt whatsoever, but you folks sure look like fools sometimes with the printing issues. i can't believe you actually pulled a screen vs. garment print argument, layne. i'd personally rather see an admission of mistake or what have you, because that's silly.

    in lieu of being any more annoyingly confrontational, it is a cool shirt rikki. congrats.

    ForceEight - good comment - I would love to elaborate a bit, because anyone can take this photo above and upload this to cafepress.com, zazzle.com or evern bountee.com (now mysoti) and have an instant shirt created all of these companies use heat transfer, or direct to garment printing.

    Having your artwork for sale at Cafepress or bountee is not, in my opinion, considered "being printed". To me if you have had a piece of art printed I guess I would consider your art purchased by a company, or site like anothersite, dbh, woot and then printed into production. I made my editorial comment because there has not been any companies out there to pick up this design and print this in a traditional method to do the artwork and coloring justice.

    (no offense to cafepress, zazzle, bountee or any of the other load a design and sell a tee on a piece of cardboard websites out there).

    Please help me to understand where I am off base - I did add a caveat in my editorial (saying my knowledge was limited) but we do screen all art to ensure the rights have not transferred from the artist and the art has not been produced.

    if you wanted a good halloween shirt you should have been paying attention before. there was a sleepy hollow shirt that i've been wearing like mad and plan to wear tomorrow. there was also the awesome shirt with the crow with the skull in his chest. so, yeah. seeing as how today is halloween i don't see how a halloween shirt TODAY would have helped your cause at all. so, quit complaining.

    Wellll, I won't be picking this one up as the girls is on white, and having to wear these white shirts are pretty thin and it forces me to be restricted on what undergarments I can wear. ("Undergarments"? Apparently now I'm in my seventies.) But plain bras just bore me and I would look all hoochified walking around in a coloured fantastical bra under this. Of course, if someone said something I could just point to my shirt in response to their incessant need to try to dictate my way of dress. Because I'm apparently one of the lame ones in their 30s that still uses this overdone phrase.

    I might have just talked myself into buying one.

    It's nice to have options, I do think that's all about in this life... If you like it: buy it! if you don't: well, don't... but come on! you don't have to say it's a bad design just because you were expecting a pumpkin in a tee for today... that, as somebody said, you won't be able to use tonight...
    thanks a lot for not doing the halloween t-shirt... now I really hope that you resist the christmas temptation!! I don't want rudolph tees in my collection!!!

    nah, layne, it's cool. you're right in the legitimate argument that the rights to the shirts didn't transfer from rikki, and that's more than enough to base the requirements on. i just didn't personally think the direct to garment objection held up with those requirements, or that it was a particularly meaty argument in the first place.

    i understand better what you meant, though, so all is well (not that it ever wasn't). sell on, fury.

    I don't want to be negative, im just not impressed with the shirt, I feel that if some one didn't have anything new to print there are plenty of other people with sweet new stuff. still, if there if a good quality version of this shirt has never been made then I can understand, end less face it, every day had a super awesome new design then I'd be running out of t shirt space

    I recently discovered TEEFURY ships to Canada. So I was very excited for my first purchase to be on HALLOWEEN.. I actually waited in anticipation as the countdown came down to the line.. then I refreshed the browser and this rainbow graphic popped up on screen. I literally yelled WHAT THE smurf and woke my wife and child up. I haven't been this disappointed in awhile. Jesus, get in the spirit TEE FURY! This shirt is THE EXACT OPPOSITE to what should be sold on HALLOWEEN!

    No disrespect to the illustrator. There is nothing wrong with the art.. just the timing!
