This shirt proves how out of touch I am with most other shirt posters here, lol. Cause if Teefury must fill its monthly quota and print another fake pop culture logo, at least make them as batsmurf crazy as this, mixing mind beakers of nostalgia in just the right combo of comics coolness and tarted-up-smurfette of the pizza-snarfing cartoon show. Also, thanks for putting it on a shirt color that Donatello and the Joker pretty much own :)
chickflix said: TGRI Friday's on the side art is better. I didn't know who Krang was until I Googled him.
Do you even know what TGRI is?
haha, I wasn't gonna mention how you know the turtles...but not their second most famous adversary(s) without help from the Random Information Gatherer 5000 site???
C'mon, there needs to be more than one main bad guy. Bear in mind Shredder on a quarterly basis has to find another ENTIRE smurfy ninja army to send through basic kung-fu training camp in a week and a half tops so he can spool them out on the street high-kicking ten feet away from turtles who walk on their hind legs. Truth is Shred's a better leader than instructor.
Anyway, I'm too much of a gentlemen to say those kinds of things. But apparently not enough of one to resist a pile-on, so...
1) sorry, orang failed the spell check, so apple told me I couldn't have him
2) Shred or Die was a better artwork (That I missed!!! The one day our cable was down n I was home sick!!!) thou kudos on the snowboard, see u on Watchusett?
3) NEED THAT BUNNY-SUITED RON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I had wanted to make a design featuring Krang from TMNT for quite some time, so I started brainstorming ideas with my good friend, Jim Stampede. The name "PF Krang's" came up and there you have it.
Where are you from?
Littleton, Massachusetts. Land of a 1,000 banks. Currently living in Boston, Massachusetts.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That I have an unhealthy obsession with pop culture art and that I plan on focusing most of my efforts into t-shirt design moving forward.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
The number of designs that I've submitted to Teefury that were NOT chosen leading up to this one.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Action figures, dogs, movie theater popcorn, chameleons, Ghostbusters, & fan art.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
Almost exactly the same art I make now. I have a crate at my parents house filled with drawings of Ghostbusters and TMNT.
What is your favorite thing about ice cream?
The taste, but also the consistency.
Abed vs. Ron Swanson: which would win the battle?
I think Ron would lay out Abed with a right hook, while he was still trying to decide which action movie to reference.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I have a black shirt with an illustration of Smokey the Bear lighting a forest on fire. I like it because it takes you second to figure out what's going on.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Movies, definitely. Ghostbusters 2.
What inspires your work?
Movies, TV, Video Games, Toys, My childhood, or any combination of the 5.
Any shout outs?
Jim Stampede, for helping me with the initial concept.
