About the artist
Nathan Stillie
Tell us a bit about your design.
It's my second beer design inspired by the series. I love old beer labels, and this is a homage to them and one of the best shows ever.
Where are you from?
I'm originally from Interior Alaska, now residing in beautiful Eugene Oregon.
Do you think your location has influenced your art? If so, how?
Growing up in Alaska, there was not a lot to do in the winter. I had two fuzzy TV channels, one of which seemed to always have "As the World Turns" or some horrible soap-opera playing. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time staring vacantly at moose, drawing, and playing with computers. Two of those habits I still keep. Here in Eugene the rain does keep me indoors, but I am a tad bit distracted by the much better TV and crazier wildlife.
What kind of work do you design outside of t-shirts?
Pretty much anything printed. I'm getting into web design and programming a bit now. It's definitely a challenge (lots of acronyms to learn).
What is your favorite thing to draw?
Pistols at dawn.
If you had a mascot, what would it be?
Probably my cat. She likes to jump up on my shoulder while I'm drawing and offer blunt criticisms of my work.
Which is your favorite sport? Do you like to play or just watch?
Hunting the most dangerous animal: MAN. I'm an alternate sub, so I mainly just watch.
If you could invent anything, what would you choose to create?
A device that could transfer an image in my brain directly to a computer screen. Of course it would put me out of a job, so I would have to destroy it. That or a breakfast-serving robot.
Any shout outs?
I don't really shout because the neighbors can hear everything through these thin walls, but whispers of thanks to all my friends and family for their support. Also, if anyone is so inclined, they could boost my self-esteem by visiting me on the face-books at http://www.facebook.com/stillieart . I have a couple of followers, but I am pretty sure they are all fake accounts created by my mom.

Clearly it's Renley, not Robert.

now if only you had made a snape reference with a stag, THEN I may have been tempted. :P
plus no one will 'get it'.

is that the side art? its broken for me =(

Especially because a Snape reference with a stag doesn't make sense, since his patronus was a doe.
I like the concept of this shirt, but not as much as the Direwolf one you did before. I think a splash of color would have helped this design, maybe a hint of yellow...
"A device that could transfer an image in my brain directly to a computer screen." I NEED THIS DEVICE! smurfs so much to have t-shirt concepts in my head when I can't draw worth a damn...
