Tell us a bit about this design.
“The three
fingered salute of the district, a gesture rarely used, meaning thanks,
admiration, and good-bye to a loved one.” (Chapter 2) . I enjoyed the
thought that a single gesture could mean so much. Such is true in
societies all around the world.
Where are you from?
Lancaster California. Home to nothing but dirt, dust and tumble weeds.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I want them to know I am dying for them to like my facebook page. I have no fans.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I have six cats, I rapped with vanilla ice on stage and I married a ginger so they don’t steal my soul.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Chocolate dipped bacon, Ben Templesmith’s “Wormwood”, Event Horizon and cosplaying as Lego-Man.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I drew really odd characters. I have hundreds of different cute and disturbing characters. And I still draw that way.
What is your favorite thing about dystopian stories?
I
enjoy the way they relate and compare to modern society. They symbolize
our basic human need for self expression and freedom form constraint.
They follow the most widely used and my favorite story writing style the
“Heroes Story” or journey. Other fantastic dystopian movies are:
Equilibrium, THX 1138, City of Lost Children and Brazil.
Facebook vs. Twitter: which would win the battle?
Twitter.
Facebook may own a legion of warriors, but Twitter has the power of
information. It will win bay tactics and it has birds.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I
actually like one of my own shirts I designed. It’s my ‘Happiest Place
in Middle Earth’ black print on red shirt. I go to Disney World a lot
and wear it every time. It fits perfectly to my body type. People are
always looking at it and giggling. It makes me feel proud of my favorite
design.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Gaming
of course!!! Turn the subtitles on and you get all three in one. My
favorite all time game is Leagacy of Kain Soul Reaver. Hopefully they
resurrect that franchise soon. I it so much my right arm is half sleeved
with a tattoo of Raziel, the main character.
What inspires your work?
Literally
everything I see inspires me. Most of my ideas come to me as I am
falling to sleep and I am recalling the day. I always keep my iPhone
within reach so I can remind myself of my new idea via self addressed
emails.
