About the artist
This design actually came about while watching tv. There was an episode where Brian dressed up as Snoopy and it hit me that Peter would make a perfect Charlie. Did a little bit of research to make sure it hadn't been done, laid out the design and now here I am.
Where are you from?
I live in Costa Mesa, California. It's an awesome place you should check it out!
How would you describe your style?
Chameleous? is that a word? I change my style to suit the design which I guess is a blessing and a curse, but lately I've found that more graphic pieces have been turning out the best for me rather than illustrative pieces.
If you could collaborate with anyone else, who would you pick?
Ralph Steadman (the guy who did artwork for all of Hunter Thompson's Rolling Stones articles). His style is so unique and out there and I just love how he characterizes people and places.
What historical figure do you most admire?
The Black monolith from 2001: Space Odyssey. Without that we'd all be dead or covered in fur or something.
If you weren't designing shirts, what would you be doing?
Well I only design part time. My regular job is writing for a local lifestyle magazine. I'd like to own my own business at some point in the near future so maybe that'll happen.
Would you rather have a pet dog or a pet cat?
Catdog. Definitely Catdog
Simpsons vs. Futurama: which would win the battle?
I'm more partial to Futurama because I think they can be a bit more outlandish with their storylines. That and the characters are just so damn awesome!
What is your favorite t-shirt color?
I'd have to say black because I'm boring, but the very exciting color Heather Grey comes in a close second.
What has been your favorite vacation or travel experience?
Going to Jamaica. We stayed at a timeshare where we had 3 square meals a day all authentic Jamaican food. They have this fruit called Ackee and it looks and tastes exactly like scrambled eggs! It's crazy!
Any shout outs?
A big thank you to Jimiyo and Teefury for letting me be here once again. Thanks to all the members of the RBC for being so awesome and supportive. Thanks to Shirtoid.com for helping spread the word of awesome tees and bringing the community together. And finally thanks to all those who buy my stuff, like my stuff, see my stuff, and hate my guts. You make it all possible!
