Tell us about this design.
This was done as a tribute when Steve passed away last year. It portrays Steve in his younger days in the early 80’s when the first Macintosh was released. His hairstyle shape and cleft chin helped form the apple silhouette, and the double meaning in the title was a no brainer.
Where are you from?
Sydney, Australia.
What goal do you most aspire towards?
Self improvement, both in my professional and personal life.
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end?
All these Calvin and Hobbes mashups. Whoever started that trend should be shot. ;)
Would you rather create art on a computer or with pen and paper?
As much as I love to create work with pen and paper, nothing beats a Cintiq and control-z.
Sci-fi vs. fantasy: which would win the battle?
The future always fascinates me more than the past, so I choose sci-fi...and a laser beats a sword as well...unless it’s a laser sword, that is.
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
The first tee I designed was when I was 15 and it was of Ryu from Street Fighter for my younger brother’s birthday. He ‘accidentally’ wrecked the transfer with a hot iron. Can’t blame him, it was a pretty lame design.
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
Seeing my then 6 year old son’s art being displayed in the National Art gallery of NSW here in Australia. It was better than most of the modern art they had on display.
What are you working on at the moment?
Just finished a tee design for Nike which was fun, and some illustration work for Revolver magazine.

The Lemmy design is indeed awesome, though. Makes me think of Probot (the Dave Grohl side-project he worked on). Very cool.
