I wanted to deliver the experience of visiting a pet shop when you're young. Except this time it features every fictional creature I'd ever want/wanted as a pet (so it's mind blowing). With some help from my friends, I made a big list of pop culture and mythical creatures and narrowed it down from there. I was inspired by retro children's book art when coming up with the style for the shirt.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I love animals. Please do not take a negative message from this design. The puppy is not abandoned, I promise. The boy was just in awe of the sight of the crazy awesome pet store.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I've never played Final Fantasy. Don't hurt me.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Firefly, Harry Potter, Parks and Rec, Battlestar Galactica, The X Files, Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and loads more tv shows and movies. Puppies, chocolate and world peace.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I drew animals, especially dogs, cats and lion king. To me humans were always an intimating subject to draw. I'm finally conquering that fear now.
What is your favorite thing about mythical animals?
Some of them can fly and that means I could too.
City vs. country: which would win the battle?
I do favor the country. It's just so awe inspiring.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
My favorite shirt I own is a Marvel shirt. It has the core heros on it and it says "I only date superheros." It makes me happy when I wear it.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I'm going to to have to pick movies. James Cameron's Aliens is my all time favorite.
What inspires your work?
Everything I love. Mostly pop culture and retro art. I also answer the question: "what would I want to wear on a tee?" when I'm coming up with new designs.
