About the artist
A lot of the people Marty McFly encounters in 1955 use comics and science fiction books as references for all the weird things they see, so it seemed a natural fit for a design.
Where are you from?
I'm originally from California, but live in Utah.
Which art style would you most like to learn?
If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
The 1930s to pick up a copy of Action Comics #1!
What goal do you most aspire towards?
To create a perfect piece of artwork.
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?
I'm not sure I'd want to place limits on anyone's creativity for designs, I think one trend might lead to an even better one.
Would you rather be able to fly or predict the future?
Flying would be the best I think. Predicting the future would just lead to boredom if I knew everything that was going to happen.
Mario vs. Link: which would win the battle?
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
It was the tuxedo Doctor Who t-shirt for teefury last year. A new spin on an old nerd favorite. It became my best selling t-shirt design ever.
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
Teaching a group of kids about comic book art. They were really talented and did such an amazing job making a comic book from scratch!
Any shout outs?
Thanks to all my family and friends who help me out with feedback on my designs!
