I grew up with the new series that started in 2005. So far, most sci-fi and fantasy shows I had consumed had very predictable storylines and characters. Fascinated with the Doctor as a character, his adventures and the people he met, I turned into a hard core fan. I still am a fan, but my favorite WHO times were the Tennant-days. However, I am still fan enough to do a design based on the show once in a while. And let’s be honest: They sell well too!

Ana A. Soto: If you had the opportunity to meet an Sci Fi, Anime, superhereo character, who would you want to meet?

The Doctor would be an obvious answer. But there are several others I’d love to meet: John Chriton from Farscape: I’d love to adventure with him. There are also a few comic characters I’d like to meet: Spider Jerusalem from Transmetropolitan would be great, though he would probably turn me into a smoker within seconds. Other first choices would be the whole Firefly crew and Spike from Cowboy Bebop.

Mathew Quitney: Have any episodes ever brought you to tears?

My favorite two-parter ever, “Human Nature” and “Family of Blood”. Why? Simple: Because it’s one of the few episodes that show the Doctor in a vulnerable state, which makes him more human and more interesting to me.

Jate Earhart: Out of the millions of video games in existence, which would you tag as your "ultimate favorite"?

It’s more than hard to find an ultimate favorite, but there are a few games that changed my perception of good, interactive storytelling and my taste for art: All Half Life games, Portal, Deus Ex, Monkey Island 1-3, Day of the Tentacle and Farenheit.

Thomas Nickel: Where would you go in the Tardis?

I would visit my friend Becky more often in Queens (It’s such a drag to travel there from Brooklyn).

Hollie Satterfield: How is your career different from how you imagined it would be when you were first published?

It was the year 2000 -I was 18 years old- when I was first published and it was probably one of the most exciting events in my life. I grew up around people who supported me, but also gave me a realistic outlook on how hard it is to survive as a cartoonist. So what I imagined was being a comic artist, but always with a healthy portion of realism. I never imagined that it would work out so well for me – but thinking back, I worked hard for it. Sometimes I forget that.

Xander Timothy McMenamin: Have you ever sat in your room, looking at the stars, and thought, "What the hell happened to my roof!?"

Brenton Owen: If you could put two characters from any different series in a room together, who would they be and why?

Mal and John Chriton of course, so they can make out. Wait, did I say that out loud?

Tin Ong: What's the best art advice you've given? What's the worst art advice you've received? ^_^

I can’t judge if it’s the best advice I have given, but one of my favorite advices (besides the obvious stuff such as draw a lot and never give up) to give is to be nice to other people. It’s true, it’s one of the most important things to not be a jerk, especially with the new opportunities the internet gives us to represent ourselves and to see other people’s work. Be a businessman/woman AND an artist. Be a good communicator, show interest in others and let others know what you think in a constructive and motivating manner.

Worst advice I ever received: Draw nicer things.

Nadine Stechmann: What has been your best inspiration for a tee ever?

When I was jogging in Prospect Park, innocently, happy, not expecting anything, all of a sudden a gang of squirrels scattered away from me in all directions. Shocked, I knew they had been stalking me, just WAITED for the moment to attack me and steal my cookies!

That is why I went home to expose them with a shirt design I called “Sqinjas”.
