Ooooh I love the simplicity of this design, might have to buy!! Question: is there still a limit of tees sold per day? Haven't seen the dead bird in a while :)
"Apparently the Dead Bird is dead. I asked the same thing and they are having the design archived on here :)"
I hope it is dead! I liked the idea of "sold out", but if the design is doing very well and selling a lot, wouldn't it be in everyone's (artist, company, buyer) favor to not put a limit to how many are sold? This is assuming that the tees get printed the next day, depending on the demand.
the "X" is throwing me off a bit...as far as the meaning of it in relation to the other items... The placement and color of the "X" looks great though... This might be my first purchase!
I for one really like the sand color, especially with the blue. Not sure if I want this enough to spend what little $ I have right now... will sleep on it...
Hmm, I thought it looked more like a jellyfish with tentacles... but then again, it could also be a skull with crossed bones. Very interesting :)
I guess I see it like an octopus with skull-like head and bones behind it...but not to the point where it's a skull and crossbones. I guess it doesn't matter - it still looks great.
HI Guys Joe Suitor is an AMAZING illustrator - one of the best I have ever seen - taken from medicineagency.com:
"Youd better get one of his shirts now. Joe has drawn for shirts for Paul Frank, RVCA, Modern Amusement, and Endovanera but I suspect after his first Spiderman comic (Fear Itself #1) comes out January 7th, Joes price is going to go way up."
I really like those octo-cables but not the cross behind it. I'd definitely buy it if the cross isn't there. Now I have to really think about it...and I LOVE that bird creature on the right. If there's a tee with it, I'd buy it!
FWIW, I would have bought it without the white X... I too find it distracting, and out of proportion to the finer lines of the rest of the drawing. I really love the design and colors, except for the X. I agree it may be alluding to a skull and crossbones, but that's a turn-off, too many of those on t-shirts already.

there will NEVER be an end to analog!!!"
They are actually digging the grave as we speak, it's next to Ska music. It's tombstone says "here lies analog, it's warmth will remain in the ears of our hearts" Next door they are prepping the ovens for cremation of CD's...

Is it supposed to represent the end of analog (tape, analog cables), or am I reading too much into it?
