Tell us a bit about this design.
I only got into watching the show because of designing tee shirts. I felt like in on any of the jokes. So, I fell in love with it. I’m also a gigantic coffee addict. Though, I’m not such a big fan of a certain coffee chain with green aprons. So, mix all that together and eventually you will have my design.
Where are you from?
Buffalo, NY. Snowy, rusty, depressed, miserable chicken wing capital of the world.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
Aside from designing shirts, I work full-time as a graphic designer, I love to cook and brew beer and I swing roof-top t roof-top fighting crime. One of those things isn’t true.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I have all of Lady Gaga’s music in my collection.
Name a few of your favorite things.
My girlfriend (or fiancé if this shirt sells well enough,) our 3 cats and my Wacom Cintiq.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
OMG! I used to love to draw dinosaurs and send them into Highlights magazine! They even published a couple of them.
What is your favorite thing about robots?
What isn’t to love about super-intelligent soulless creatures? When it comes to Daleks, I love their crazy voices.
Time travel vs. space travel: which would win the battle?
Sadly, though I LOVE space travel, “he who controls the past, controls the future.” If time travel wanted to win, a time traveler would merely need to travel back in time and execute all founding fathers of the space program. Battle won.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I’m actually wearing it right now! It’s a hipster bunny drawn by one of my friends, Wenceslao Almazan.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Reading. I read A LOT. If I had to pick 1 single book, I’d pick 1 filled with layers and characters and a lot of side plots and messages and complications. I’d pick Stephen King’s “The Stand.”
What inspires your work?
Lots of things. I usually get inspired after my 3rd cup of coffee, with some kind of movie soundtrack, or Coast to Coast AM episode or some Dave Matthews Band playing.
Any shout outs?
Shout out to my Illuminati brothers and sisters.
