Tell us a bit about this design.
There are an awful lot of health and safety notices in the world today, and I just sort of noticed that you don't see many in fiction despite the fact that its a lot more dangerous than this galaxy. Just because you're being shot at by rebel scum doesn't mean you can't try and avoid accidents at work.
Where are you from?
I'm from the sunny(ish) south of England.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I want them to know that I do lots of daft drawings like this and to pop by and take a look at a few now and then!
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
My unusual eating habits would be the main thing.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Star Wars (of course!) all kinds of sci-fi, bad movies from the 80's and 90's, chilling out and watching a few movies with my family and doodling.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
Most of it involved spaceships, robots, monsters and funny people. Far too much of it was made in my school books as well. Not much has changed really.
What is your favorite thing about UFOs?
Its that they could be anywhere, watching our transmissions, learning all about us and just waiting for the right time to say hi.
X-Files vs. Close Encounters of the Third Kind: which would win the battle?
Battle? There wouldn't be a battle! Mulder wants to find the mysteries of the universe and the aliens want to tell us all about them. These guys would get on like a house on fire! I can imagine Scully spoiling it all by looking for the 'rational' explanation and not believing the evidence of her own eyes, but other than that they would be BFF's for sure.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I've got a Mad Max tee that i won. Not only has it got one of the ultimate badasses (and his car!) but it was free! It doesn't get much better than that.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I love all these things, how can you make me choose? If I absolutely had to choose one it would probably be reading. The fully immersive 3D experience in my head beats any cinema. And no-one would be able to take my copy of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy triology away from me!
What inspires your work?
The vast collection of otherwise useless facts and information I've filled my brain with over the years. I knew it would be worth it one day! Seeing all the great things that other T-shirt artists and designers come up with always helps too.
Any shout outs?
All my good friends in the RBC and the RBA who are helpful, critical and inspiring in equal parts. Not to mention anyone who has helped share my work with the world, I love you guys!!
