Tell us about this design.

Over a year ago, I consumed all audio books of the series in about three months. I guess that was the moment were I realized that there was good fantasy literature out there and I became a huge fan. I closely followed the TV show and fell for the amazing depiction of the characters. Long story short, I am a huge fan – and I wanted to make a design about it.

If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?

1920ies – I would knock on HP Lovecraft’s door and tell them to eat healthier so he doesn’t die in 1937 and can keep on writing the Cthulhu Mythos.

Winter vs. summer: which would win the battle?

Winter is totally coming. No way around it.

What has been your most inspiring art experience?

Finishing my 66-page graphic novel “Xoth-The unspeakable city”, a horror comedy based on HP Lovecraft’s writings – it took me a year to do it and was probably one of the most inspiring, exhausting things I ever did (info: http://xoth-comic.net/index_engl.html)

What software do you use? And how long does it usually take you to make a print? (asked by Ryan Negrini)

I use Photoshop to color my art. I do most of the line art traditionally, with multi-liner and pencil and scan it in to color it. For some designs I work 100% digitally, with a Wacom. It takes me between 4-12 hours to do a design, depending on how complex it is.

You are the pilot of an experimental ninja robot mechanoid, and charged with the sacred task of defending the planet from all invaders. I would LARPing, full time, every day of my life. I would be Longfinger, the dagger swinging rouge, looking for treasure, save innocent princes and defend the kingdom from evil dragons and ninjas and such.
