Oh man, I'd be all over this if A) I wasn't super-pissed when they killed Eddard and hadn't stopped reading the book right then and B) the kerning wasn't so off :( most of it's not noticeable but Baratheon is all over the place :( But other than that it's great! I'm sure you're gonna sell a TON haha! Congrats on the print!

Tell us a bit about this design

The design is taking an already popular school of witchcraft and wizardry, and opening up a new branch in Westeros.

Where are you from?

I’m from England – Peterborough if you know your way around the UK.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?

I’d like them to know that this is my first design that’s actually been printed, so they should be gentle.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?

Well, this would be totally the wrong place to discuss it if I didn’t want them to find out something. But gun to my head, I’m quite ashamed of how old my version of Photoshop is.

Name a few of your favourite things

I like games, good tv series (mostly American I’ve noticed), music, books and tea. I do like a good cup of tea.

What kind of art did you make as a kid?

I used to draw a lot of dinosaurs. My teacher once tried to get me to draw a self-portrait, by asking me to draw a dinosaur standing next to me. I drew a brachiosaur, and placed a dot next to it to represent me. The teacher called my mum into class, and then got a lesson on dinosaurs from my mother.

What is your favourite thing about magic?

I quite like finding out how tricks are done – the sleights of hand which make you miss where changes are made. But it is nice to be surprised and amazed by it before finding out how it’s done.

Wolf vs. lion: which would win the battle?

A single lion vs a single wolf? It has to be a lion, hands down, they’re bigger, bulkier, and have sharper claws. Wolves are big on teamwork though, so I reckon a wolf pack would probably work together to bring down a lion.

Describe your favourite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.

I think my favourite shirt is probably my “The Status is not Quo” from this website. I hesitated and missed out on it, but bought a grab bag, and happened to get it.

Which is better, gaming, reading or watching movies? Name your favourite title in your chosen medium

I like all of them for different reasons, it’s difficult to watch a movie on a train, and you can’t curl up with a good game, but a movie or book can never be quite as interactive. I’d say that games just win for me, with Bioshock being my favourite for its beautiful style and setting, as well as having a compelling story.

What inspires your work?

Games, films, books, tv, the art nouveau and art deco periods, I also quite like propaganda posters. I’ll also be corny and say my little sister. It was her that introduced me to TeeFury. She also has some pretty good ideas for tees. This was one of mine though…

Any shout outs?

I’d have to say my girlfriend and my family, who provide lots of support (and usually lots of constructive criticism too). And the people on the TeeFury forums, who also provide support and criticism. This design started off looking a bit lame, but got better with help from the community.
