Tell us a bit about this design.
Every time someone says "hello" I think "No, I said 'allo, but that's close enough."
Where are you from?
Watervliet, MI
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
Where to buy my shirt. (ABOVE)
Also this is my first shirt on TeeFury. Thanks guys!
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
That I am from the Podunk town of Watervliet, MI.
In the art community there is a negative connotation that comes with being from small-town middle America. Many think you have to be from a large city to be cutting edge and relevant; that's just not the case.
Name a few of your favorite things.
my computer, my phone, my Sharpies & my Post-Its
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
Doodles mostly, in the margin of my homework.
What is your favorite thing about cats?
Their attitudes. Cats couldn't care less if you are there. They don't need constant attention. Plus their clumsy gracefulness is internet gold.
Spam vs. beef jerky: which would win the battle?
Round 1 - Taste: Beef Jerky. Spam tastes like Jello made from sweat.
Round 2 - Best Dressed: Spam
Round 3 - Number letter in name: Beef Jerky (9)
Round 4 - Most fun to say: Spam
Round 5 - Hand to Hand Combat: Spam (probably contains hands)
WINNER - SPAM! As long as I don't have to eat any.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I made a "Trees are people too" shirt a few years back; it was ok. Recently letters started falling off of it.
Now it says "TREES PEE".
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Reading HA HA.
But seriously I would say watching movies. No matter how awful the movie is I watch it to the end. I have trouble picking a favorite. I am a big Sci Fi nerd, especially stuff from the 1960s. I am always looking for titles I have never seen. My other guilty pleasures are bad 80s teen romp; preferable the ones with a pointless montage and maybe a ski-off or something at the end.
If I had to pick a favorite movie it would probably be "Back to the Future". So TeeFurians if you make a "Back to the Future" shirt I will buy it.
What inspires your work?
Conceptually: Dumb things. Puns. Signs that make no sense. Stupid warning labels. Ridiculous movie quotes. Things that probably only I find funny.
Aesthetically: Vinyl figures (Dunnies, etc.), graffiti, propaganda art, old fruit crates labels
Any shout outs?
I am new to TeeFury so I don't really know anyone yet.
