What the heck? The Karma shirt wasn't original enough, yet this site can run 12 smuuuuuurf Dr. Who shirts a month? That's pretty weak. What about people who bought the shirt before it got pulled? I am seriously not that happy with this site right now.

Three in January and only one was directly a Doctor Who shirt. The other two featured other aspects of sci-fi in addition to The Doctor.

Originality? Was the art stolen or something? Bizarre.

10 bucks for this replacement shirt? Yeah that is not gonna happen.

Just started buying from this site and seriously disappointed. Went to put money on my card and come back and the karma shirt gone? Not cool. If u put a shirt up, leave it for the time allowed or don't put it up at all.

Agree with Antibus, not cuz I was crazy about the other shirt, but because originality does not seem to be a priority anymore these days. I LOVE TEE FURY, but I get tired of the pop culture references everyday ( I used to want to watch the Dr. Who series, now I just don't wanna see another phone booth/scarf again). You guys used to run a lot more original art.

the other artwork was stolen.

everyone complaining about the other design being taken off, it wasn't that artist's work, it was stolen. would you want someone stealing your artwork and making a profit off of it? i seriously doubt it. we should be commending TeeFury for handling the situation and not allowing a theif to profit off the tee sales, not screaming at them for taking the design down.

If the artwork is stolen, fair enough for pulling it! But i think an important point has been raised in the above comments. The originality has gone a bit stale. I think there are way too many Dr.Who shirts and not enough original art (art which doesn't focus on a particular TV show). Even if a T shirt isn't exclusively Dr.Who, people who dislike Dr.Who aren't going to buy it.

Agreed. There's a difference between a fandom you don't appreciate, and art that has been stolen.

I'd buy it for $5.
$10 is asking a bit much for a shirt I'm not going to want to explain to people. They never get it anyway.

i support the choice of Teefury and was unaware of it being someone elses work but for the people that bought the Earl shirt, does that mean we wont get charged or do we manually cancel the order?

the same could be said about anything else. of course people who don't like it aren't going to buy it but the issue is that there are about a trillion people who do like doctor who and will buy every single design. don't get me wrong, i'm all for teefury going back to more original pieces that don't have anything to do with pop culture but i think turning the front page of the site in to an anti doctor who rant is a bit ridiculous. this is what the forums are for people.

i recall my question, i noticed it was cancelled.

also, just for the record, i am by NO means a fan of doctor who. never seen an episode and would be content to go the rest of my life without it.
