Tell us about this design.
I love the game, so that's what drew me in to doing a design featuring the blue bomber. I've had this idea spinning around in my head for quite some time, and thought it was time to give it form. I always find one of the most difficult tasks in the morning is deciding what I'm going to wear, and I can't imagine it's much different for him, what with all those eye-catching suits he's got.
Where are you from?
I live in Waterloo, IA.
What has been your most adventurous moment?
I think moving from my hometown had to have been my most adventurous moment. That and starting a family. Both very adventurous.
What has been the most valuable advice you've been given?
Finish stuff! Ian Leino actually gave me this advice earlier this month, and it's something I plan on sticking to. I have so many unfinished projects that are completely worthless. Finishing projects is where it's at.
If you had a theme song, what would it be?
The Final Fantasy victory fanfare.
What is your favorite thing about morning?
Drinking gallons and gallons of coffee. Honestly, I get depressed when lunch time approaches. I loves me my morning coffee.
Alarm clock vs. rooster: which would win the battle?
Gah, both are equally annoying. I'd say alarm clock, cause no matter how many times I smash those things, they keep making noise.
Describe the strangest shirt you own.
Hmmmm.. I don't have any strange shirts.
What would be your dream project to work on?
I would love to work on an animation project. Anything. I'm not the greatest animator, but it fascinates me.

How do you know the Mario idea was drawn first? Do you keep tabs on these artist and know exact dates? I though so...
