Hmmm... Chinese year of the Dragon starts next week.... might be a sign that it is the right time to buy this shirt.... but I don't trust the new models, either. They look 9 years old and way too tan. I definitely prefer the other ones. I don't relate to these two at all, they're way too young.

I'm really torn because, like you, I too am a huge Skyrim fan but I don't find this subtle at all... (though I have no complaints about the art)

This is hilarious. The funniest stream of TF comments I've seen in a while. For me and my friends, one of the coolest things about this site was the mystery of who those darn models were. We made up stories about it, gave them names. So I understand the shock and hysteria associated with this change. But it's frigging hilarious to see everyone's comments. I'm glad I'm not alone. I don't have a clue about the reference of this shirt BTW but when I saw it I liked it so good job!!

If not for the fact that anyone who knows what this design is from would probably tell me an arrow in the knee joke, I'd get this. That one immutable fact makes me not want it. Arrow in the knee jokes are like cancer. They're horrible and you can't cure them. Ok there is a cure for cancer but pharmaceutical companies don't care. From the perspective of a girl, the fact that we can see the new model's bra would make me not want to buy the shirt. Regardless of the design. I -hate- having to wear undershirts but showing off my bra would be even worse.
I like that TF just pastes the image onto the models instead of actually having them wear the shirt otherwise her chest would easily distort the images. I think either girl is cute.

WE ALL WANT THE OLD MODELS, they are kinda the faces of teefury we all learned and loved.

I have to really think about this. I love the design, but am not too fond of the words. Plus, people will give me smurf about arrows and knees.
As for the obligatory model comment: Who are these pathetic outsiders? The Nords are warriors of the mountains where blizzards are plentiful and frost rains down, unless they were tanned by the fire of a dragon, they are unwelcome here.

Oh dear - judging by the new models, I am now too old to wear Teefury shirts. No more for me. Plus that *child* doesn't fill out the shirt very well with his stick thin pree-teen frame - can you at least photoshop some bigger arms onto him? And get rid of the ridiculous tan, they look tango'd. Oh yes, shirt - very cool. Particularly like the arrow in the knee.

The T-shirt models used on this site are generic models. When I was designing T-shirts, we had the exact same pictures and were able to just change the color and designs on the Tees. There are a few different sets of generic models that you can choose from.

The other t-shirt girl was way cuter!

I couldn't even tell you what the old models looked like, I just didn't care. I come here to buy shirts, not people. That being said, I desperately want to buy this pretty redhead at the top of the page.

I want to like it because it's Skyrim, but it doesn't make any sense. The design is just trying to cram in as many memes as possible without actually trying to make it into a coherent design. :/

Maybe they should have a group of models for the Tshirt designers to pick from so it rotates like the Pancake stack image. Not all colors look good on everyone, even Amy.
It would help the shirt sell if a Xcolor shirt was modeled on a person who looks good in Xcolor.

No, that's not what they meant. The models used by Teefury are from a set of stock images, and those stock images are available to other sites that sell t-shirts.

These should be exclusive to Teefury. The other set is only TF and DBH. If found anywhere else, they were appropriated.

Much as I did (do still) love the previous female model it's fair play they got a model with boobs to show how the shirt will look... but TF uses Photoshop mock-ups (they shirts ain't printed yet) and putting a flat image over a boobacious model... doesn't help anyone.

Obvious Photoshop is obvious... and I'm sure they've boosted the oranges. Maybe I've been living underground (developing a thing for the previous female model) for too long, but they do look very orange...

I agree, the guy looks like he just stepped off the set of Neighbours, and the other girl with the short hair way hotter... sad but true as models do impact point of sales...

Ha. I've been watching teefury for months now, saw many awesome designs I really loved, but never bought anything. I don't easily buy things. But I NEED to have this one!

Agreed! The other girl model is SO much hotter. But I'm not that shallow(lol) and will still make the purchase(I've decided, this tee is way too EPIC to pass up), but would definitely love to see the previous models returned to their rightful place at teefury.

Honestly, I wonder why they would make that choice to use new models? What they should have done is make a poll with a few different sets of models(including the previous models), then let the COMMUNITY(which powers teefury) decide if we want to see new models or not. I think that would have been the best course of action. Ah well...tis life.

Exactly! Anyone who doesn't play Skyrim won't even know what the hell "Dragonborn" is, so it's not like, "YEAH, I play Skyrim!!". No, nothing like that. But people that might be interested in the tee's epicness might ask, "What is Dragonborn?" Good way to break the ice or start a convo. Just the way I see it.

No, that's not what they meant. The models used by Teefury are from a set of stock images, and those stock images are available to other sites that sell t-shirts.

So, the usual models are available for other sites. What does that have to do with these new folks?

TeeFury was going to switch the models, but then the new models took an arrow to the knee. (Or so I hope!)

Much as I did (do still) love the previous female model it's fair play they got a model with boobs to show how the shirt will look... but TF uses Photoshop mock-ups (they shirts ain't printed yet) and putting a flat image over a boobacious model... doesn't help anyone.


Obvious Photoshop is obvious... and I'm sure they've boosted the oranges. Maybe I've been living underground (developing a thing for the previous female model) for too long, but they do look very orange...
