About the artist
Tell us a bit about this design.
It's the Heisenberg-drawing from season 3 depicted with Walt's blue crystal meth. It originally started out as a poster, but then I thought it would look good on a tee- and here we are!
Where are you from?
I'm from Malvik, a little place outside of Trondheim, Norway.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That I'm a high school student studying media and communications, and that in addition to graphic design I'm also into 3D art. The latter is most probably what I'll attempt pursue a career in.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
How much of a lazy bum I am. I always tend to postpone any work on everything until like the night before it needs to be done.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens. Brown paper packages tied up with string. These are a few of my favorite things.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
A bunch of stick figures in the margin of my math-book. It wasn't until early this year that I really started taking art seriously.
What is your favorite thing about science?
How it can be used to poison bad people's burritos.
High fives vs. fist bumps: which would win the battle?
Hmmm. I think it would end in a draw. I hope so at least. Both gestures are great and fit for different scenarios. Seeing one of them die in the heat of battle would be a major tragedy.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
This grey shirt with Robocop riding an unicorn like Napoleon rode his white horse in that famous painting. It's designed by Olly Moss I think. Creds to him.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I think I'd have to say that I enjoy watching films the most. Blade Runner, Inglourious Basterds and Terminator 2 being one of my favorites. I enjoy playing games a lot too, but only those with interesting plots to dig into, like Metal Gear Solid 3, Uncharted 2 and Half-life 2.
What inspires your work?
Sunrises, entertainment, and the work of various great artists. For this design in particular I took a lot of inspiration from Saul Bass and Olly Moss' work.
Any shout outs?
Absolutely. The TeeFury-crew, first of all, for selecting my design. It really means a lot for me as this is my very first venture into t-shirt design. And all of my friends, my mom and dad, my poor Aussie mate Rusty who has helped me out a lot but never gotten his own designs selected, and my fantastic media-teachers!
