Announcement from Service!

You pick your quantity. One grab bag order does not mean 3 shirts. You have to specify the quantity of shirts at $6/pc.

We don’t take your purchase history in consideration while fulfilling orders. If you own a shirt, there’s always a slim chance you might randomly get the same shirt in the grab bag.

Make sure to pick the correct size. We can’t swap sizes after an order is placed. The order has to be cancelled, and you will have to re-order.

We cannot fulfill request for specific designs.

If you place 2 or more separate orders, we cannot guarantee the lack of duplicates. We try our best with single bag orders, but even then, sometimes it is not possible.

You may get designs from past quarters due to undelivered returns and left over stock.

Due to the quantity of orders, the 3-7 day processing time applies to grab bags. They do not ship out immediately.

That really smurfs that the other person didn't follow thru with the trade, but not everyone is that shady. I traded with someone after the last GB and it worked out splendidly. Hopefully you'll get shirts you like, but don't let your last experience discourage you from trading in the future.

It was the September grab bag and we agreed to mail eachother a shirt. I mailed mine and they never mailed theirs. I emailed them several times asking if they had ripped me off or if they just forgot and they never replied.:(

I've done 2 grab bags. In both of them I did trades. So far I haven't had any problems not getting a shirt back in the trade. Always ask for a tracking number. That way you at least know if the shirt was shipped out or not.

I know, I have the address but what to do with it? Show up and walk in their house and find my shirt and grab it and leave is what i'd LIKE to do...I was supposed to get the 3 mouse cheese shirt too! It sounds from the comments that its usually not like that so I'll try again. Good to know it wasnt too common...

I traded two shirts from last grabbag with no problems. You must have just found a bad apple. I'm gonna order some shirts and might have to do some trading. If so I'll look you up. Good luck. You could also post who you "traded" with so no one else gets burned by the same bum.

I trade with family and friends only. Sadly, it's the only way to be sure. The Teefury forums are basic at the most. Not as comprehensive as others I belong to and that makes it difficult to prevent fraud.

It's a $10 lesson learned. It could have been worse.

As someone who is also new to this site, I can't say for sure about OTHER people, but I'd be honest and awesome about trading with people! I'd even send you some kind of proof to hold me accountable (facebook account? maybe? not sure if thats good enough)! Thats pretty messed up someone ripped you off, though :( I'd like to think they were the odd one out in a sea of awesome people.

Yay! Can't really afford it, but I LOVE grab bags! September's was only my 2nd purchase and I hadn't gotten my first purchase yet. When I got them all they were too big. I still have a Caution: Zombies tee in WL I can hopefully trade this round. :)

I was able to trade my shirts without issue, I still have 2 left to trade from the last grab bag... I was just sure to get shipping confirmations with the people I traded with. just be aware of where you are shipping to, it can get expensive.

As well you should be, if you ask me! Search the sales threads in the forum or on ebay; you'll probably find the shirts you want and can rest knowing you're plunking down $$ for shirts you actually want. I am still trying to unload shirts that I didn't like from the last two grab bags!

I traded once without issue. I sent my end out and got the return shirt a few days later. It's a crapshoot though, unfortunately. Sorry you got ripped off.

It would be nice if there could be a thread where people name bad-traders, but since there's no way of keeping the person from just signing up under a new user name, that would only be so effective. I guess before trading you could check how long someone has been active on the site - presumably someone who's been around for a while isn't going to be a total smurf...but who knows.

Crazy how the shipping cost for multiple shirts is way more than if you buy individually (USPS delivery confirmation). One would think you would save on delivery by buying in bulk. I'd buy three XL and three S if I could save on shipping. Alas, only one of each; and separately at that.

I know it's my own fault for mailing it without checking, but can anyone tell me, do people actually trade and generally be honest or is it a total ripoff that I fell for because I'm new?

That's a total bummer for real. I've never traded on the forum before for that same reason. I'd be honest and switch ya, but I can't say the same for everyone else. I've heard more good than bad about trading though...you must have gotten a dud person who's totally lame. :(

TeeFury themselves are not accountable for any trades. They just host a forum people use to discuss trades / exchange emails etc.

It's random. It's also the only chance to get from TeeFury, shirts that they have had in the past. I believe it's a random pick, from this quarter (season), but you could also end up with a shirt/s from previous quarters.
Having just looked at the rules, if you order more than one, there is even a chance you could get sent duplicates. I think that's just mean (unless you want x3 mens small, and they only have x1 design in mens small left?),

I know this is a super late reply but I've traded several times and all of them have turned out fine. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with trading through the forum and that is a risk we take when we trade, but I wouldn't give up hope on it. One thing I always do when trading is keep in touch with them through email throughout the process. Since you had a bad experience I would mention it in your next trade and maybe ask them to email you a picture of the shipping label or receipt (this will depend of course on how they send it) just to help you feel more comfortable with the process.

I once got a yellow shirt in the grab bag that had a cat wearing a leather jacket and boots riding a motorcycle. It was very Napoleon Dynamitesk. So ugly, but hubby and I have embraced it as the weirdest shirt we own and have come to love it. I ALSO got a tee of Sonic the Hedgehogs skeleton. 7y/o daughter loves it!

As someone who is also new to this site, I can't say for sure about OTHER people, but I'd be honest and awesome about trading with people! I'd even send you some kind of proof to hold me accountable (facebook account? maybe? not sure if thats good enough)! Thats pretty messed up someone ripped you off, though :( I'd like to think they were the odd one out in a sea of awesome people.

Hey TeeFury why not do an Opposite Grab Bag Sale, with the same selection of tees, and either limit the number of tees per customer to a small amount, or let them buy as many of each design that they want? I bet that sale would be real popular!

I know I'd be there cause there are a lot of designs in the current batch that I do like but also a lot I would not want and so am not able to take advantage of the Grab Bag Sale.

It technically is considering that if the shirt were $10+2.50 shipping per item the cost for 3 shirts would be like $37. 3 for 18 is an awesome deal if u ask me. I just have shotty luck with these type of things so I'll pass on this.

It's the thrill of the gamble. You have a chance to get an awesome shirt (or not so awesome shirt) for only $6! You can always sell the stinkers or trade them for more awesome shirts. You're never stuck with a bad shirt.

I live by the "grab bag rule of 3" that says for every 3 shirts you buy, 2 will smurf but 1 will be awesome. So buy 3. Sell 1 for $30 to a hungry fan, and trade the other for a better shirt. it's a win win win.

Not quite. Your real total cost includes the shipping charge which for three shirts would be around another $10. So, 6 shirts X3 =$18 + $10 shipping = $28. Overall, still cheaper than buying individually, but at a higher risk of getting those shirts you don't want. The fun part is getting the package and then seeing what shirts are inside. Good luck!

It was my first experience trading here, and with one exception it all went off without a hitch - at least on my end. :P If anyone didn't receive the tee I sent them, they certainly didn't tell me about it anyway.

That being said, I'm not going for the grab bag this time around. There's just not enough in the past 3 months that I actually wanted in the first place. I think I bought all but 1 or 2 that I liked.

What's with all the complaining? If you don't want to risk it, don't. No one's twisting your arm. As for those who are saying "You had the chance to get what you wanted for the last 3 months". What if I didn't have the money that day? Some of us are actually poor enough to not have $15 for whatever purpose every day.

Plus, it's EXCITING. As someone else pointed out, it's a gamble. And if you can't live with the shirts you got, you can sell them or trade them!

Sorry it's not fun for you, but it's no reason to rain on everyone else's parade.

I know, I have the address but what to do with it? Show up and walk in their house and find my shirt and grab it and leave is what i'd LIKE to do...I was supposed to get the 3 mouse cheese shirt too! It sounds from the comments that its usually not like that so I'll try again. Good to know it wasnt too common...

I still have an unworn/unwashed three mice cheese in men's medium from the last grab bag. I don't plan to wear it, if the size is good for you we can work things out so that you can get the shirt.

As for this go around, ordered 6 shirts, hope I don't get ones I wouldn't wear again. Last time worked out one trade which went well also, so will probably do that again once I get the shirts.

I ordered 4 XXL shirts just to up my chances of a Doctor Who shirt. This is my fourth grab bag and every time I get a Firefly shirt(Serenity Sake, Shiny!, and Aim to Misbehave,) a sci-fi shirt by Captain Ribman(Unprocessed Soylent Green, Mystery Science Theater, and X-Philes,) and an art shirt(Buddha Bot, Silent Night, and Hey Mister Mister.) I noticed in trade threads that people with 4 shirts also had a Doctor Who therefore, I ordered one more than usual.

TL;DR: If you are ordering XXL shirts and you like Doctor Who, order 4. If you don't, get 3.

Last grab bag I traded probably 5-6 shirts and everyone was cool. Unfortunately you happened to run into an asshat, it seems. I was afraid of the same thing when I was doing it.

I've traded 3 times thru teetrade and all three went off without a hitch. Love the grab bag!!

Dude--report them for mail fraud. If you have their mailing address etc. It's a serious crime in the US.

Last grab bag I traded probably 5-6 shirts and everyone was cool. Unfortunately you happened to run into an asshat, it seems. I was afraid of the same thing when I was doing it.

Idk, but I'm kind of new here so really I would be okay in trading with you if I get a shirt I really don't want.

Got a pile of them yesterday. Weird though, today's only has some sizes available and not mine :( With the last grab bag, I didn't get the ones I wanted and the fit was too tight so I sold them on to people who liked them. It's worth doing, I think.

I got Mars Terraforming and Drapers bar in ML, and Stark Direwolf Lager and LOSTeam in WXL.
