Tell us a bit about this design.
Using the Carbon & Ruthenium element symbols instead of Bromine & Barium!
Where are you from?
My home town is Lee's Summit, MO.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I'm an 2D animator, graphic designer, and pixel artist! I'm available for any freelance jobs, feel free to shoot me an e-mail. :)
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I think classic retro games are still far superior to a lot of new games coming out...
Name a few of your favorite things.
Retro Games, Animation, T-Shirts.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
Video Game & Cartoon Monsters.
What is your favorite thing about Breaking Bad?
The storytelling and characters are really fantastic.
Mario vs. Zelda: which would win the battle?
In literal terms, I don't think Mario would ever fight a princess, let alone Zelda. He is quite the gentleman. But if you pitted the two against each other in a competitive match of Super Smash Brothers, Zelda would most likely win. Even though Mario is a well rounded character in all the SSB games, Zelda's alternate form Sheik is a total beast in those games!
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
Probably my Donkey TRON shirt I designed, a smooth mix of TRON in retro Donkey Kong graphics! That is until I get this Breaking Bad one! :D
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
That's a tough question! With gaming, you're not only interacting with fantastic adventures and concepts, but you have total control of elements of the experience and even it's outcome, my favorites being EarthBound & Zelda. With reading, you explore the lives of complex characters in an epic world unlike yours, with the visuals being customized to the story how you think they're described, Hitchhikers Guide for example. But with movies, you get a first hand eyes and ears experience in the ultimate form of story telling, weather shot with a camera or drawn by hand, my favorites being Akira, Rushmore, The Thing, Seven Samurai, & 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'm going to go with "(D) All Of The Above" on this question.
What inspires your work?
Minimalist design. Every form of it. Whether it be retro game pixel art, or smart simple designs like Saul Bass's.
