Sookie's Stack House...Gilmore Girls? Either way, this is a great shirt. Still trying to figure out if I wanna get this or not. I haven't seen a lot of Venture Bros. or any Brady Bunch, but the only character I don't recognize is the robot in the center.

Sookie Stackhouse is the main character in True Blood.

And the robot is H.E.L.P.e.R.

Tell us a bit about this design.

Well, it’s the story...of a man named Venture, who was bringing up two clones of his own. We actually just finished re-watching Season 3, and the character development is pretty great for a cartoon. As you see behind the curtain of the villain-hero relationship, you realize that the Venture clique and the Monarch camp are really one big, violently dysfunctional family. It’s sort of what we all secretly wish The Brady Bunch would have turned into at some point.

Where are you from?

We are from Ventura, California and San Diego, California respectively, but to most of the world they’re the same place :D

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?

We are a geeky couple who bonded over our love of Lord of the Rings and graffiti art, hence the name. She comes up with our best concepts, and I dutifully consider myself The Hand of The Queen.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?

We’ve never seen The Godfather.

Name a few of your favorite things.

Wow, ummm...Zelda...Tetris...that’s kind of a big question.

What kind of art did you make as a kid?

Mostly comics. It all started with a cool art teacher in grade school that let me sketch from X-Men trading cards when I should have been shading fruit.

What is your favorite thing about Team Venture?

The obvious answer is Brock Samson in full berzerker mode, but deep down it is the indomitable spirit of Hank and Dean and their Kenny-like ability to respawn.

In a one-on-one fight, a Trubie vampire wins hands down, but there’s really no match for The Horde.

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.

I have a Clint Eastwood shirt from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly that I pretty much live in at home. It has been washed about a thousand times and feels like it was woven from the fur of the little bear in the Snuggle commercials.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.

I’d have to say gaming because I think that industry is doing the best job of combining elements of all three. As far as favorites, our top three are: 1. Fus 2. Ro 3. Dah!

What inspires your work?

The TeeFury community and the great work that they contribute day after day. There is a real sense of camaraderie amongst the artists and their feedback along the way has been invaluable. Props to ZeroBriant and TEEvsTEE for being cool enough to give us advice and inspiration along the way and to Glenn Jones for his pen tool videos!
