Almost looks like I see a "Breakfast Club" reference...
Is the dude behind the Fright Night John Cusack? Maybe Better Off Dead?
winner winner...better off dead was '85
I can't figure out who the guy is with the Member's Only jacket behind M. Anthony Hall. Sure are a lot of Goonies refs in this. Shoulda put some "My Science Project" or a "Real Genius" in there! ;)
Wow... Great shirt. I'm sad that some characters aren't on there, but at the same time I know that it could become extremely cluttered if all of the Class of 85ers were on there. :)
Pretty sure I'm going to get this. 85 was a great year for teen movies.

The concept is awesome and I see lots of memorable characters, but I don't really see much in the way of "kids and teens" here, just "boys and men". There are no females in the group at all and that seems a bit odd in terms of it being a class photo. I know there's a lot of male leads in adventure movies, but wasn't there someone you could throw in there from 1985..? How about Jack and Lily from Legend or Dorothy from Return to Oz? I know, I'm grasping at straws, but humor a fellow geek girl here? o_O;;
I love this concept, and am ashamed that I don't recognize every single character. U_U I also agree that the 'Evil Dead' side-art is fantastic and definitely an insta-buy for me!! I mean, who can resist Chibi-Ash? Too cute!! ^-^
I might not be an 80s kid but i know half of those such an epic shirt but not an instant buy for me i cant be a fake and buy it but it is epic, also smurf yes evil dead side art its amazing!!

I agree completely, there are a lot of great female characters (not to mention iconic actresses) from the time period.
Great idea! Can't say that I really like the art style though. I'm not even sure who half the characters are supposed to be because of the overly cartoony art.
kdeans1010 said: I kinda' love that "Star Wars"/"Toy Story" design. "Toy Story 2" is my favorite movie. And I'm a "...Wars" geek girl. Please make this happen.
Thinking that the Boba Fett is supposed to be a Fett/Samus MashedPotato to go along with the Mario/Thundercats MashedPotato next to it.
I think the movies referenced; Goonies, Weird Science, Daryl, Back to the Future, Teen Wolf, The kid in the wheelchair is Corey Haim in Stephen King's Silver Bullet, Explorers and Fright Night. I like this one!!
So you're telling me the kids from The Breakfast Club did not graduate? Where's Pee-Wee Herman? Where's the Lord of Darkness from LEGEND, or the knight from BRAZIL?
I'm on the brink of ordering this for a friend of mine. I need to tell you that I squealed like a little girl when I saw the Norris "Thing" design. Seriously....
The one above fright night really looks more like John Cusack from Say Anything to me...boombox and coat kind of gives that away. Also the fact that the face looks just like John Cusack.
i keep coming back to this shirt..... i was there the day it came but i was broke.... totally smurfs that i didnt get it though... im a total 80s freak... heehheee
got mine in the grab bag, couldnt be happier because i just discovered this site and was upset i didnt get this also the legendary one but didnt get that one :( def John cusack

This tee celebrates over a quarter of a century since my childhood was blown wide open by a steady stream of amazing movies which showed kids and teens could fight monsters, travel through time and search for hidden treasure!
Where are you from?
An area of England known as Teesside, next to the river Tees. Coincidence?
Which art style would you most like to learn?
The Art of Noise! Think I better dance now!
If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
The future! I'd keep zipping forward till it was Jetsons style.
What goal do you most aspire towards?
After what feels like years in the creative wilderness, I just want to create work which speaks to me and which I can be proud of.
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?
Eep, not sure I'd want to stop any trend. Sure, not a day goes by that we don't see another Doctor Who, Obama 'Hope' parodies and all that 'Keep Calm' business, but to be honest some people are still doing great designs within that. My faith in all the great designers out there tells me there's still some great takes on these subjects. I just think people need to be sure they're putting a really good spin on them. The trend I'd like to see started is already starting as we speak, Twin Peaks!
I have no idea what the Superbowl Shuffle is so I'm going to have to go with that. Although wasn't one of the Ghostbusters involved with 'We Are the World'? If so, maybe that one.
1980s vs. 1990s: which would win the battle?
1980's would win. The technology weighed more, you could crush a man with your walkman. Plus the Eighties had YOUNG JCVD, YOUNG Arnold, YOUNG Stallone, YOUNG Jackie Chan and YOUNG Chuck Norris. The 90's had Pauly Shore.
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
I'm going to apply a couple of rules here - the first tee which I was proud of AND which saw print, was a little Zombie graphic called 'Corporate Zombie'. That design really has followed me over the years and I still to this day get work because of it. He was basically a little blue zombie, in shirt and tie, with a dollar sign coming from his mouth.
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
Just going to art college. Suddenly finding myself in a place where everyone is super creative, where people are all of such a like mind and where you are encouraged to pursue a career in an artistic field was AMAZING! It was like finally finding somewhere you belong.
Any shout outs?
Got to give a shout out to all the good folk at TeeFury for once again giving me the chance to print here! Thanks guys!

I'm pretty sure the kid in the wheel chair is from silver bullet.
That also means both Coreys are there :D
I'm surprised that Mikey was left off though, as the rest of the goonies are there.
It's a pretty cool shirt, but I don't see me getting it. I'm pretty much tapped after Christmas shopping.
