Tell us about this design.
I am a big fan and really like the character, so I wanted to do some kind of tribute illustration. Him being a bodyguard, I thought a "Security" company was a fun and fitting parody. I also used art deco fonts to give it that 1920's look. My buddy Mark suggested the marquee lights. I thought that was a nice touch.

Fishtown in Philly
What has been your most adventurous moment?
Most of my adventurous moments started out hanging on the corner of Hewson & Belgrade with my friends in my teenage years and early 20's.
What has been the most valuable advice you've been given?
When I was a skinny teenager, my Dad would always beat me at basketball, even though he was so much older. But he'd box me out, get every rebound, and beat me with crazy hook shots - every time. I'd be frustrated and ask, "How can you win? You're so old!!!" And he'd reply, "Life is about positioning." I thought that was good advice. Plus I just suck at basketball. Always did.
If you had a theme song, what would it be?
"Smile" written by Charlie Chaplin or "The Beast in Me" written by Nick Lowe. I'm kind of manic.
What is your favorite thing about Boardwalk Empire?
The old tymieness. I would have loved to live during that time of music, style, and technology.
Wizard of Oz vs. Pinball Wizard: which would win the battle?
Wizard of Oz. I like The Who, but, c'mon...FLYING MONKEYS.
Describe the strangest shirt you own.
My F.L.U.G. (Fun Lovin' Unicorn Gang) shirt. It looks like a logo for a motorcycle gang. They were made for a group of my art students at North Catholic a few years back.
What would be your dream project to work on?
I love doing indy comics, so I'm going to take a crack at my first "Hobo Zombie" story this winter.
Any shout outs?
Yes: Randall "Tex" Cobb rules. I'd also like to challenge my Dad to a game of basketball. I think I could take him now that I am older, fatter, and wiser.

What the T shirt is about... That's 'what not to get'. lol. Seriously, if you've never seen the show you wouldn't have gotten it either. Your evident shock at this is a bit odd.
