    Colors are limited when making the shirts and I was worried Charmander might turn out weird being non-orange. Plus I felt Charmeleon had a good role in the show when Ash had to deal with him unwilling to obey, and hes red :p.

    Just because the art is of different styles does not mean that they are different people. It is clearly a mimc of the Katamary Damarcy art style. Also, I can attest that, yes, they are both made by the same person as I know the artist personally.

    The sign of a great artist is his ability to be diverse in his styles. Every artist has to be able to change styles to fit the customer's needs. All of the art is fantastic.

    Yeah I thought about that too, but Ash and Red during the RBY Generation practically looked the same. The best thing Vincos could have done was use Red's modern design, but it's not a deal breaker for me overall.
