    I figure the similar to OoTs Morpha's shape for the monster in the water, and "proper attire required" are what make it seem to most people a water temple.

    I think acquiesce is assuming its the Water Temple because the creature portrayed on the shirt is Morpha, the Water Temple's boss (the amoeba thing with the nucleus weak spot). Also, the Zora Tunic is required to enter the Water Temple without drowning, hence the "Proper Attire Required Before Entry" note.

    Hmm, let me see: proper attire required, the Temple boss right in the center, and, I don't know, the presence of WATER all throughout the BLUE design? Just a hunch.

    And yes, the Water Temple was hard. Harder than talking down to someone on the internet at least.

    Also, props to TeeFury and jublin for kicking off November with such a wonderful Zelda shirt! It's perfect, especially since Skyward Sword drops on the 20th. This shirt is an insta-buy.

    P.S. The Water Temple was very tough, especially back in the day. All the raising and lowering of the water got to a lot of people, myself included.

    Oh c'mon man you sound like a total snob. Anyone that has played OoT knows the water temple is a huge pain. The tedium of raising and lowering the water alone is enough to make me dread playing through that dungeon.

    I would assume Water Temple because: 1) Water. 2) Tentacle monster. 3) "Proper attire required," which would be the Zora tunic so you can breathe underwater. Also, a lot of people died in the Water Tempe. So, "Temple of death" works very well.

    As for the design itself, I would Insta-Buy a poster version, but it's too big and bulky for a lady's shirt.

    You're a cheery person aren't you? We know it's the Water Temple because the boss is right in the middle of the t-shirt! But it's a mash-up of a lot of other elements too. I love this shirt :)

    The design looks reallly sweet, but I'm thrown off by the "Templo de los Muertos" part. It's clearly the Water Temple... not because there's water, but because the Amoeba boss is in the picture.

    So... I have to wonder -- why call it the Temple of the Dead? More accurately, it would be the "Templo del Agua."

    I really like this shirt but I'm on the fence today, leaning toward passing.

    Maybe because that is most definitely the water temple boss. Furthermore, the only temples you need special tunics in were the water temple and the fire temple, thus, through process of elimination, tedward1986 came to the conclusion that the water temple is being advertised on this shirt.

    It does say on the bottom of the shirt "proper attire must be worn for entry"....I assumed that meant you needed the underwater boots to be able to go into the dungeon..the WATER dungeon.

    It's water temple, you can tell from the monster in the middle, that's what the temple boss is. Also, water temple is one of the most notoriously annoying temples of any zelda game. Raise the water, lower the water, blah blah blah.

    Why it's water temple:

    1. It's blue
    2. "Boss" in the middle is a long "worm" shaped thing (same as water boss in water temple)
    3. "Attire" required ie. blue tunic (if it were fire temple, would be red).

    Other notes, Chickens, because they're always in Zelda. And "Temple of Death" because water temple is notoriously hard, whether or not it is after you've grown up.

    You know it's the water temple because of the tenticle sticking out of water in the center, that's part of the boss from the water temple. Also the water temple in the time the game came out was considered one of the hardest dungeons in a game because of how it was designed as a maze. Sure you can look back at it more than a decade later and say "it's easy cause children are dumb" but in it's day the game was amazingly difficult. Especially compared to all the sequenced games today that don't require you to do anything but Tap A and watch an animation.

    I think it's a mixture of most of the temples. "Temple of the Dead" is alluding to the Shadow Temple, then there's the water boss from the Water Temple, but I don't remember the floating skull things in the Water Temple... of course I haven't played for a while, so I can't be sure. And then there's other stuff too, so I think it might just be a representative of the whole game. :) But I see why the Water Temple was targeted by tedward1986.

    Uhhh, I assumed this shirt was for Shadow Temple not Water Temple.

    Shadow Temple is forever imprinted on me because it scared the smurf out of me when I was a kid and the first time I played it, I gave up playing when I got to the Shadow Temple. Picked it back up years later, there was a trace of that horror there I finally beat it.

    Getting the shirt for nostalgia, oh yeahhhhh

    Assuming it is the water temple is probably due to the fact that the tentacle coming out of the water with the orb in it is the final boss of the water temple when you're adult Link in LoZ:OoT.
    Also, the water temple genuinely was one of the harder temples.
    Granted I did play that game when it first came out o.O
    But this is a definite buy. I even have a Zelda tattoo.

    It is the Water Temple. The monster in the middle is the Water Temple boss from OoT. I assume the Temple of the Dead is in reference to the difficulty of this level. And yes. Smuuurf you Water Temple!

    They assume Water Temple because the obvious boss, Morpha, in the water. She was the Water Temple boss. Hense the "smuuuuuuuurf you Water Temple." Also, it says "Templo de los Muertos" because the shirt is a mash up of Dia De Los Muertos and Legend of Zelda. Nov 1st-2nd is the Day of the Dead in Mexico.

    Bought the shirt, if this were on any color other than Black I probally would have passed. Need to get more dark colored shirts, lots of people prefer them. Or offer 1 dark and 1 light color shirt per design

    and yes it is mostly inspired by the water temple from Ocarina of Time. (because I was playing it on my 3DS at the time X__X)

    But I don't think there are any of the fire skulls in that temple and obviously no cuckoos, so it's somewhat of a loose interpretation of several temples from the game.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the legions on the internet got this one wrong. The Water Temple is almost the easiest adult link temple there is. It has few puzzles, lots of obvious dead ends you never revisit, and with the water level adjustments the whole thing is cyclical. Hi-five
