Tell us a bit about this design.
Jurassic Park and Super Mario Bros are two things I really appreciate and enjoy since I was a kid, That’s why I wanted to pay them tribute by mixing up both concepts in the legendary final scene of Jurassic Park.
Where are you from?
I come from a little room in Morelia, Michoacán, a beautiful traditional small city in the fabulous country of Mexico.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
This will not be the last you see of me, because I have a lot of funny ideas in development, so stay tuned. ;)
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
If I answered that question they would definitely know about it so... Well, I think I don't really have anything interesting to hide.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Concept art of various videogames, De Loreans, dinosaurs, my iPod, Capcom games, and TMNT, just to name a few.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
When I was kid I drew a lot of dinosaurs, and very diverse things, from prehistoric landscapes to comics about alien invasions.
What is your favorite thing about dinosaurs?
Their greatest and enormous complexion is something fantastic, like the things you see in comics, but the greatest thing about them is that the really used to live in our planet.
Ninja vs. samurai: which would win the battle?
It's a really a hard decision. I love this two Japanese icons, but I have to say Ninjas because they’re stealthy and are just f***ing awesome.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
That would be a Spider Man retro design that looks like out of a comic cover from the 70s. I love those MARVEL covers from John Romita Sr. and Steve Ditko. Their style is really unique.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Gaming, because it fuses reading with movies, adding gameplay for a succulent experience that is always enjoyable.
What inspires your work?
All the work of young artists/designers who make shirts here in TeeFury, and all the people around the internet who take, manipulate and create incredible graphic ideas based on pop culture and all those things that we love so much.
Any shout outs
To my mother and father, simply because they bought me my first videogame console, my first Dino Riders and Jurassic Park toys, and a lot of comics. These things shaped the way I see the world and of course the things that I want to create in the future.
