My daughter says "Oh... My.... God....!"
I say, "What?!"
She doesn't answer... I say "WHAT?!" again.
She says "You have GOT to come see the Teefury shirt for today!
I look, all I can say is "I just won't fight it.. I will give in right now!"
My second ever t-shirt purchase from Tee Fury (my first was Snow-Lek) - love the design and colour of the t-shirt. I look forward to 4pm (Aussie time) every day when this site is updated!
I was just about to buy this 'till I noticed the spelling...I'm a Brit and there's no way I can wear a T-shirt that spells 'dishonour' without the 'U'.
Overall a really sweet design. My only beef is the use of United Cutlery's knife instead of the actual d'k tahg prop. Unfortunately, the thumb switch is plainly visible - this bothers me and I will have to think the purchase it over.
Gonna have to leave some constructive criticism on this one. The bird of prey looks cheaply copy / pasted over the dagger & remaining design. This is especially disappointing when I see your side art which is of much higher quality & effort.

How does the actual prop work? If this is from Star Trek III I remember the closeup of the smaller blades popping out and seeing the actor's fingers pressing something, just can't remember seeing a switch or button.
An excellent design but I have been buying too many shirts recently (In the past month, 4 from this site and a couple others from similar sites. TeeFury shirts are always the best)
Cons19 said: Wouldn't get a tattoo so I wouldn't get a tattoo shirt.
I don't think this constitutes a "tattoo" shirt. That would be those fake-ass skin tight Ed Hardy rip off of sailor Jerry designs that cling to your arms in a skin tone to make it look like you have tattoos.
Those of us who have tattoos are certainly glad you're making the decision not to join us, however. That high and mighty tone is certainly attractive! Neato!

The original prop created for STIII used a concealed trigger mechanism to release the sping-loaded blades. When TNG rolled around the original prop was unavailable so the prop dept. recreated it - this time with static blades.
What the artist shows is not a prop at all but a commercially available knife originally called the "Bird of Prey" and later the "Phoenix" after a run in with Paramount. The design of the knife was inspired by the the prop so it's not accurate. I did find some evidence the cutlery knife was used on set but it's not a D'k tahg.
It would be like designing a shirt and using the Hasbro Tie Fighter toy instead of the actual shooting model. Close, but not that close.

Much impressed ^_^
A great tee design indeed, but that quote is referenced in ancient Roman military writings, the Bushido code, was discovered again and popularized during WWII, and has become a hugely popular miltary tattoo. Good punk music reference, but they didn't invent it. Have a nice day

His comment may not be a negative toward people with tattoos. I have always felt that I would not be able to get a tattoo because I would not be sure I want anything permanent printed on me, as I may change my mind about the tattoo. So that is just how I feel about tattoos on me, I like them on other people.
Genevieve292 said: So there isn't a Who shirt on Who Day? Oh okay. That's cool too i guess.
That would be too obvious. Plus we just had two of them last week and one the week before. TeeFury does not actually print as many Doctor Who shirts as is sometimes stated in the comments, more like two to three per month.
I thought it over and decided the pluses of overall excellent design, a BoP (my wife's fav ship) the shirt color outweigh the single negative of the store bought knife.

never said they did, just referencing one of my favourite bands ^_^
Cute. Interesting they use the United cutlery version of the knife instead of the version from the series and movies.
Otherwise it would have been a instabuy for me
Well, I am a professional tattoo artist and I have always hated the "traditional" tattoo style. So I like to mess with it as much as possible. This is a Sailor Jerry design done in a sci-fi theme. We gots a "bird of prey" and dagger called a D'K TANG, and of course the classic font.
Where are you from?
Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. In fact, my family is part of the reason Wisconsin is called the badger state. (long story)
I currently live in Minneapolis, MN.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
ummm.... Buy my shirt??
And, I'm awesome!!
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
My nickname is Bleach. I got that from mopping a waxed floor with bleach, creating a chlorine gas which would have killed anyone if they inhaled it.... Floors were nice and white though!!
Name a few of your favorite things.
My three cats, my good friends, John cryer and Milla Jovovich!!!
J.C and M.J aren't my friends, I wish they were, but it sounded like I said they were. I meant them as well as my friends..
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I drew nothing but Calvin and Hobbes , and Garfield.
What is your favorite thing about tattoos?
I love doing anything with shading! I can shade way better on skin then I ever could on paper!!
Spock vs. Captain Kirk: which would win the battle?
Duh! Vulcans have superior strength! Spock, all the way. Kirk was kind of a douche!
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I'm a huge movie nerd! It would be a toss up.
I have the shirt Val Kilmer wore in real genius that says " I (heart) toxic waist, and the medical shirt Cameron wore in Ferris Bueller's day off.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Not much of a gamer. Reading? What are books??!
Movies for sure. To name a favorite would be next to impossible... Ummm...... It's a mad mad mad mad world is definitely one of my all time favorites. Best cameo movie ever made!!
What inspires your work?
The stupider the better!!! Once I found out about tee fury, I was very excited! I love everything that ends up on there. All right up my alley!!
Any shout outs?
My boys at Aesthetic Apparatus, Capitol City Tattoo (Madison), and the two people most responsible for giving me the artistic gene, my dear late mother, Sandi Meinholz and my awesome dad Larry Temby!
