    The 'missing' ribs are what are known as 'floating ribs'. They attach to the spine but not the sternum. since the image does not go back far enough to catch them, the image - as presented - is accurate.

    now that's pretty effin' sweet, I give you that. not too creative, but spot-on and very well executed. gonna think about this one, I kinda wish jimiyo's Lovecraft shirt would have been glow in the dark ... but I really like this one, too.

    You must hate a ton of tv, especially science fiction and fantasy. So much of it contains scientific improbabilities. As well, so many shirts on here have characters and creatures that are unrealistic, even anatomically incorrect, which leads me to wonder if you've ever bought a shirt because of this. Honestly, with the amount of shirts that are anatomically incorrect, I wonder why you even come here in the first place. Maybe you should stick to plain T-shirts.

    No, we have 10 attached ribs, two floating ribs, not 9 and 2. Even if there were twelfth ribs not shown it would be incorrect because of the lack of the tenth attached rib. Also, the floating ribs do not wrap all the way around like that, in fact the twelfth ribs are very short, and neither eleventh or twelfth hook at the end like that. I've spent the last 2 years of my life studying this stuff, which is why this shirt would be SO AWESOME if it had been done correctly.

I've spent the last 2 years of my life studying this stuff, which is why this shirt would be SO AWESOME if it had been done correctly.

    I would have been ALL over this shirt if it were correct. I'm a bioarchaeologist and this would have been SO COOL but I just can't deal with the bad ribs. Its not like there aren't ten million images of ribs that google can pull up in .000005 seconds. This error shouldn't have happened.

    I'm too poor from yesterday's shirt to get this, but I have a lovely story to share about my first time wearing a glow in the dark tee shirt. Keep in mind that I was on painkillers at the time:

    Me: *talking to best friend on the phone* *looks down* "EMMY! MY BOOBS ARE GLOWING!"
    Emily: "....What?"
    Me: "My boobs. Are. Glowing."
    *a few seconds pass*
    "Oh, it's just my shirt."

    It's been almost three years, and I have yet to live this down.
