Very cool idea. I agree with others the stripe on the pot should either not be there entirely, or at least not where his open mouth is. It sorta draws my eye in, and not in a good way.

I LOVE Krusty as Pennywise, though. That's pretty cool.

Not a strap, its the metal ring that is one most generic coffee pots. If you've ever worked at a place that serves coffee you've seen these.

The Hulk Smash Kool Aid shirt was really cool. I didn't notice it until flipping through the gallery after making this one. Not sure what you mean by "forced" though. From pitcher to coffee pot is an easy transition. But thanks for the feedback.

Some might argue that it echoes too closely the "I'm Loving It" shirt that was featured here recently. I did create the Krusty design before that one popped up but the way that shirt was conceived and executed was brilliant. And I still feel my Krusty design is somewhat incomplete.

As a caffeine addict who grew up in the time of the Kool-Aid man, I do like this. But I don't like the light coloured shirt. It seems that many of us nerdy shut-ins prefer dark colours in our clothing.

I was wondering what was bugging me about this top and I think I've got it down to the numbers, they just arent following the curves of the jug. Its a good idea but lacks a finished feel, not to poke at the designer but the lid and the bottom of the cup just dont look right. Final thing is the top of the pot just isnt a smooth curve, I love the idea just dont feel it was pulled off quite right.

Whoa, whoa. Sorry if I offended. But anyone who knows me knows that is the farthest thing from my intent. Anyway, coffee man is not African American. He was grown and harvested in the hills of Colombia.

Erm, this design has exactly nothing to do with any race at all. It's a coffee pot, and one eye is bigger than the other to convey the idea that he's hyped up on caffeine. Maybe you didn't take a very close look at the design before posting this, but I think if you take a minute or two it's easy to see that this is just a shirt celebrating coffee and the energy one gets from it.

Tell us a bit about this design.

Another T-Shirt design submission company was having a contest titled “loves coffee”. I was brewing up a pot at work one night and just had an epiphany involving the Kool-Aid man and a coffee pot. I did submit it to those other guys. They shot me down. But the design has undergone some fine-tuning since then, and like the mythical Phoenix, I have risen from the ashes. Thanks Teefury!

Where are you from?

I am from Leominster, Massachusetts. It is awesome.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?

I want them first to know I exist…wait for it….There, done! Now I want them to know that I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I am available for freelance jobs. Just message me on Facebook and tell me what you need.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?

That I enjoyed both Lady in the Water and The Village.

Name a few of your favorite things.

Rocky movies, comic books, T-Shirts, Juxtapoz magazine, E. Town Concrete, Otis Redding, boxing, running, The Incredible Hulk, hanging with the wife and kids, sleep, Sam Adams, Mongolian BBQ Beef. Oh, and They Live. Oh, and The Band. Oh, and when my wife has had too much wine.

What kind of art did you make as a kid?

I remember drawing monsters with a bunch of eyes and teeth, when I was like 4-years-old; eyes, teeth, horns, and claws. Maybe I was trying to duplicate what I saw on Masters of the Universe. But I really got into drawing when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon came out. I think I got my first comic around the same time. Comic book art and TMNT; that was it for me.

What is your favorite thing about coffee?

Man, in the beginning things were really good with coffee. You start drinking it around junior high and all of the sudden you and your friends have this grown up thing to do while you sit and talk about nonsense you think is so important at the time. Now I need coffee. I like the taste too though.

Zombies vs. mutants: which would win the battle?

Bruce Campbell, hands down. No wait…”Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Both of those guys, for sure.

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.

My wife bought me an Angry Birds T-Shirt that says “THIS IS MY ANGRY FACE”. I like it because she bought it on her own and it’s right up my alley. She knows me so well.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.

Gotta be movies. Impossible to choose a favorite. Maybe Raging Bull.

What inspires your work?

I want to do work that doesn’t suck. I want to provide for my family, but do it by doing something I enjoy. Because some day I will be dead.

Any shout outs?

I would like to give a shout out to my wife Michelle. She believes in me. Love you baby. And to my two daughters Madison and Zoey. Some day they will be old enough to read this, and it will still exist somewhere in cyberspace. Love you too girls.
