Not so much loving the portal connection - and the play on words is not something I could ever really live down with my friends. This will be a pass for me. While I did ask for a Doctor Who t-shirt this month; this certainly was not what I was hoping or asking for when I mentioned I wanted the Tardis on my shirt.

What's bothering me is the gap in between. Kind of large but again I understand the transition. Just the gap makes the design kind of empty in between.

You are right, the blue isn't a true Tardis blue, but it is meant to be more of the blue color you would see in Portal.

Seems were back to the status-quo here. After such a good line-up of random references (Total Recall, Hunt For Red October, Back To The Future, Labyrinth, hell even Dirty Dancing and Napoleon Dynamite.) too. Somebody's gotta make money off this stuff I guess.

However, I would say it would be better if the portal guy exiting the TARDIS was changed to a Doctor silhouette (perhaps an older one like Tom Baker as I think he would be more silhouette-discernible especially with the scarf) or vice versa (i.e. doctor enters portal, portal guy exits TARDIS)

I love both Portal and Doctor who as well but I'm not really sure how these are connected. It seems rather forced (and the explanation of the mash-up seems even more forced). I wish you luck and I'm sure you will sell lots of these but I think for it to be truly brilliant there needs to be some sort of solid connection between the two properties.

I will begin by saying this: Yes, There are probably more Doctor Who shirts on this site than any other pop-culture reference. But the complaining is just silly. Take a look at me: I am a huge fan of Doctor Who and I have been visiting this site just about every day since that Tron/Lewbowski shirt was printed. But I have somehow been able to buy a number Tee-Fury shirts and ended up with ZERO Doctor Who shirts.

I took a look through the gallery and noted the dates for all Doctor Who related shirts (Doctor, Dalek, Weeping Angel/Silence, Torchwood, etc) and found that they average 18 days between printings. Sometimes it is quick (In March there were two shirts seperated by one day) and other times it's more than a month between Who shirts.

Here is the list I'm going by. I did not include COEXIST (February 2) or Objects in Space (September 2) which include Doctor Who in a mix of other Sci-Fi references:

That still leaves at least 28 non-Dr Who shirts per month. I'm not a fan of the Doctor, but I can appreciate the fun design and OBVIOUSLY this is what keeps Teefury in business. Whatever it takes so I can get my Star Wars, Game of Thrones, or Dexter shirts, so be it.

I was thinking "It's a nice crossover, but I think I'll pass." It took me a minute to recall the exact P2 logo, where the blue portal's been just a line... and once I remembered that, the shirt became 5 times cooler. But it's seriously off-balance... so now honestly, not sure if want...

I really like how it looks!!

But if you fell into a time vortex I'm pretty sure you would die, rather than emerging into the TARDIS. For that reason it's a no-go from me :( It's a cool MashedPotato, but doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'm not sure that I get it (yeah yeah I understand the references) But is it saying that the Tardis is a blue portal? And if you enter the yellow you emerge from the Tardis?? Wouldn't it make more sense to have the person entering the Tardis and exiting the Yellow portal hence suggesting the Tardis can take you anywhere?

Tell us a bit about this design.

Hmmm... well what it's based on I'm hoping is obvious... Basically playing on a few things, Dr Who travels through time "portals" so seemed right choice to mix with Portal 2 the game, there is a 3rd part to it that some might not get... it has to do with the title - Portal Who... it sounds like Porta-Loo, which for all you Americans, is the same thing as your Porta-Potty. The Portal character looks like the toilet sign figure and the tardis does kind of resemble a porta-loo :D

Where are you from?

Sydney, Australia.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?

That yes as an Australian I ride a kangaroo to work each day.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?

That I am lying about riding a kangaroo

Name a few of your favorite things.

Food?... something jaffa - orangey chocolate mix mmmmm. People?...my wife and kids rock! Music?... something rockin' - Fave Oz band - Fireballs, Fave Int. Band - Fugazi

What kind of art did you make as a kid?

I'd scribble on everything. Lots of clips around the ears from my parents and teachers for drawing all over my school work! Used to copy a lot of stuff then mainly characters, only been the last 2 years I've got back into drawing.

What is your favorite thing about Portal?

One of my friends was playing it, the whole concept is really cool and the way the designers of the game have put it together is amazing, the physics of it all. Kinda does my head in a bit, the way you drop here fall out there etc.

Kangaroo vs. Tasmanian Devil: which would win the battle?

Totally would depend on what weapons they were using... but probably the kangaroo as it has a huge pouch to store extra ammo :P

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.

Oh that's an old shirt. It's an old style bowling shirt from a Rocket from the Crypt tour in Oz back in '94? Eeeek! Rocket print above pocket area and skull and crossbones and band name on back.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.

Reading - has it over movies hands down... books tend to have lots more detail and they tend to cut out way to much when they adapt them for movies, plus I have am over active imagination so books are great for that as I have to create the scenes. Favourite book? that's a hard one... two of my favourite series are Otherland by Tad Williams and The Dark Tower by Stephen King.

What inspires your work?

LOVE street art! Have belonged to online communities for years, wish we had heaps more art about the place in Sydney, it's extremely lacking. Mainly love characters and quirky stuff but not so obscure that you look at it and go ....whahuh?
