Tell us about this design.
Two of gaming's oldest heroes find a mutual solution to their problems. I thought it was kind of heartwarming with a side order of rampant destruction - and a great excuse to smash the maze to smithereens.
Where are you from?
Yeah. I get that a lot.
Which art style would you most like to learn?
I'd love to dip into more expressive ink & paint styles that are rooted in fantasy and pop-culture. Andrew Jones, Frank Frazetta, Yoshitaka Amano are eye poppingly amazing...
If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
1853, Mauritius. I'm off to get me a pet Dodo. I bet they'd make great pets... or maybe they were really annoying. That would explain a lot.
What goal do you most aspire towards?
Immortality.
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?
Well I know they're popular but I don't personally like tattoo style shirts. It just seems wrong. Bad and wrong! ;-) The new trend I'd like to see is the 'Spiritgreen is Rad' shirt. I know those are already taking off, but I won't be happy until everyone owns at least three.
Would you rather stumble upon a unicorn or a centaur?
Centaur. Softer landing.
Pizza vs. tacos: which would win the battle?
Pizza smothers tacos. Tacos cuts churros. Churros impale pizza. So... pizza.
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
It must have been one of those lame iron-on designs that a copy store can make for you. I think it was a giant, alien baby from my 3rd year animation project. Something suitably weird.
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
Do you think anyone is still reading this? I'm going to say unveiling my 27ft tall Cheez-Whiz sculpture of Veronica Mars. I bet no-one will notice.
