Tell us about this design.
this design is based on a photograph of a nintendo and a sega hi-fiving in the wild from national geographic. it captures the moment right before the two rivals ordered a pizza and talked about how much they have in common.
Where are you from?
Simi Valley, California! a land most scholars thought to be mythical. i can tell you though, it does exist. and it is beautiful.
How would you describe your style?
I'd describe it very loudly and to anyone that would listen.
If you could collaborate with anyone else, who would you pick?
That's a fun question! I'd probably pick Zac Gorman (zacgorman.com) and Edgar McHerly (invisiblehairsuit.com). Their stuff is the best.
What historical figure do you most admire?
John Wilkes Booth, inventor of the cotton gin. Without him, we wouldn't have cotton...and without cotton, our shirts would still be made of dirt.
If you weren't designing shirts, what would you be doing?
Designing on bare chests.
Would you rather explore land or sea?
Probably land. Exploring sea would make me a sailor, and that's a big bonus...but i feel like land probably has funner stuff to discover more often. Sea would just be a lot of water most days, i'd bet. Unless i can explore under the sea too. Can i? if that's the case, then i choose sea. My chances of finding treasure increase tenfold if i can go underwater. Then i could use that treasure to by a rocket and explore space.
Mario vs. Link: which would win the battle?
Definitely Link. Mario is a brave man, but Hyrule is so much more dangerous than the Mushroom Kingdom. Link was forced to grow up fast and grow up hard.
What is your favorite t-shirt color?
Black is my favorite to wear...but not my favorite to design on. It leaves no room for shadows! Probably brown for designing purposes.
What has been your favorite vacation or travel experience?
Probably when i used sunken treasure to buy a rocket and go to space a couple questions ago.
