Only two here I don't recognize, those two being the Ewok-looking one next to Goddard and that one on the right, next to K-9.

by the way, the background picture of Columbia is my way of saying goodbye to a great ship that has served science well for many years. I was sad to see this go, as I have vivid memories of the 80s as a kid being fascintated by this ship. To all its captains and crews, some of which who are not with us now, THANK YOU!!!

i like the little touches you kept...like the i-dog passing a card under the table. Instead of a spaceship in the framed photo though i would have just possibly done a motor boat since sailboats were used in the original painting.

Also don't get why you chose 4:12 instead of 1:12...

hey thanks for your feedback. Yeah sometimes my choices arent exactly what you would expect. Columbia is there since it was decommissioned this year, it was my way of saying thanks to all those who served science over the years some of which are not with us now :( - 04:12am was the time I finished the artwork, I worked on it 17 hours straight. I purposely changed the time for this reason.

Really, REALLY cool design! I'm a dog fanatic and this is a really neat idea.
I totally understand the toy dogs in there, it's gotta be hard to generate as many robo-dogs as were at the original table.

Dynomutt would've been a fun addition, but I wouldn't have remembered him. The only one I felt would've been a little more obvious was Rush from Mega Man. I never played Mega Man, but he's the first thing that came to mind when robo-dogs were thought of.

I think this is such a cool concept, and executed perfectly. But it makes me realize that I personally am not that big a fan of the robot dogs out there, lol. But if that Calvin and Hobbes BTTF side art gets made, I'm all over that.

This design could only be more fantastic if it were printed on velvet.

I really like how you captured each unique dog and portrayed them in your style. Nicely done!

Someone above me mentioned making this a poster and I can't get that idea out of my head -- makes too much sense given this is riffing off of art. I'll pass on the tee but if you do create a poster I am SO THERE!

Tell us the background of this design.

I wanted to re-visit a famous artwork and put a pop culture twist on it. Dogs playing poker seemed like a good subject to play with. BAM there you have it!!

Robots vs. mutants: which would win the battle?

Robots - because robots like the terminator and the iron giant are kick ass!!

Describe the strangest shirt you own.

It's a yellow shirt with a picture of a ship on the front and some other industrial machinery and on the back it has a sun logo with slogan 'solar powered salts' - rather non-sensical but I like it.

What would be your dream project to work on?

My own projects - watch this space.
