Exactly! "The snozberries taste like snozberries" is from the original Willie Wonka movie! This shirt is freaking awesome because it immediately made me think of Veruca Salt licking the wallpaper :) Nothing beats the og Willie Wonka!

The shirt is awesome! And yes, it's a Willy Wonka reference (or the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl--I can't remember if the line appears in the book). Super Troopers came out significantly later.

Great shirt. A great reference that many people would understand.

Pretty sad that so many people didn't catch the Wonka reference. Original was by far superior to the remake (from cinema standpoint rather than fidelity to the book).

I was excited because at first I thought it was from super troopers but. super troopers is actually referencing charlie and the chocolate factory. and that movie creep-ed me out as a kid. so if it was a little more super troopers and a little less Wonka i would have probably bought this, I like the design however.

Before "Super Troopers" there as Willy Wonka and the fruit wallpaper. The scene in "Super Troopers" would not exist if not for Willy Wonka. Just sayin... BTW, loves the shirt. :0)

READ the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl - the man was a genius!

His kids work is brilliant (parents, take note) but his adult stuff is just as warped and just as clever. Highly recommended - all of it!

Yeah. I read the book too. I was talking about the original film though. Even though the first movie was less like the book than the second. Still, I prefer Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Better music. Just my opinion.

Yep. I'm surprised you're the only one who mentioned that. Along with the semi-sesame street type sign, this shirt looks so weird. The references don't mix whatsoever. I love Wonka as much as the next person, but I have no idea why people like this shirt.

What a coincidence that this shirt went up hours after I watched the repeat of Top Chef Just Desserts in which they honored the 40th anniversary of the film by using that as inspiration for the challenge. They even used this line when judging the desserts. I'm a pass on the shirt though, not a big enough fan, though I did think it was fun as a kid.

Those of you insisting Super Troopers, that came out 30 years later.
