Because they always end up with stacks of pancakes, and TeeFury is a business whose purpose is to make money.

I don't understand why people have so much trouble with that notion. I doubt any of the complainers would be buying shirts daily anyway, so what does it matter if the reason one isn't buying a shirt is because it's a non-referential shirt that they don't care for, a fandom shirt for any non-DW fandom that they don't participate in, or a Doctor Who shirt.

There's any number of fandoms regularly represented on TeeFury that I don't follow, but I don't smurf every time they pop up. Because for goodness' sake, TeeFury gets enough of my money as it is - if there weren't off days I'd be in trouble! Plus just because I don't follow a fandom that doesn't mean that there aren't loads of other people who do and who will be excited to see a shirt for it on the site.

Besides, if I don't like the shirt on any given day, I can come back in twenty-four hours and like magic, there will be a whole new shirt that just might be more to my liking.

@jimiyo - congrats on the print! Clever design, and an instabuy for me :)

Ahh... I couldn't work out what the psychic paper was at all, and Colin Bakers love of cat pins on his jacket completely escaped me.

Great design! As I always say, you probably can't afford to buy a shirt every day, so why get so upset when it's something you're not into? Doctor Who obviously sells well, I love Teefury and want them to do well, so let them sell a few Doctor Who shirts! It definitely doesn't seem to be as many as people claim it to be. And this is coming from someone who is not a fan of the show.

As a little girl, I used to watch Dr. Who on PBS. That ridiculously long scarf stuck in my head for years. One day while I was in college in 2003, I wandered into a Wet Seal and found a REALLY long, striped scarf and just had to snap it up. The boy that I was dating at the time saw that scarf and said, "OMG! Dr. Who!" and right then I knew it was love. Nearly eight years later, we haven't watched any of the episodes since it's returned, but it's on our to-do list, right after we get this whole getting married thing (9/19/11) out of the way.

Thanks for reminding me of that moment by designing such an awesome shirt! This might have to be a his/hers purchase! Ha!

Because Doctor Who fans don't get much of a choice variation when it comes to Whovian merchandise. Sure, there are TARDIS shirts, Weeping Angel Shirts, and of course, "Bow Ties Are Cool" shirts, but other than that, there isn't much of a variation on all of the AWESOME things involved when it comes to Doctor Who. The fanbase is super wide, so the merchandise should be too. Hence, so many Who shirts. ;)

You really need to learn how to count. Since August 13 there have been - including today's - a grand total of TWO Doctor Who shirts. The TARDIS was on another shirt, but it was a generic sci-fi ships shirt. This apparent oversaturation of Who tees is really all in your mind.

Dudes, calm down.

I just looked at the last 150 shirts. Six of them were Doctor Who (not counting shirts with numerous sci-fi references on one shirt).

Six. That's 4% of shirts. There isn't some conspiracy here to flood you with Doctor Who shirts.

I think this is my favourite Who design TeeFury has ever done. Love the print colours, love the tee colours, love that it includes (emphasizes, even) classic Who... the only thing that could possibly make me love it more is sneaking in a TARDIS somewhere, but really, it's perfection as-is. Well done, sir!

I love this design by the way. Brilliant.

Three is the sonic screwdriver. The yellow and black striped one was what Pertwee carried.

Six is the cat badge. Colin Baker loves kitties and had a cat lapel pin on his coat. He also had one sews inside the coat for each completed story.

Nine's is the psychic paper. He uses it first.

Tell us about this design.

I based this design off one of my all-time favorite shows about a certain time traveling doctor. I always thought that one of the coolest aspects of the show is that each version of the Doctor had their own unique style. I tried to incorporate a little piece of each of the 11 incarnations into the design. Oh, and remember kids, bowties are cool.

Where are you from?

Springfield, a town just outside of Philly and birthplace to one Tommy Kiefer, lead singer of the 80's hair metal band Cinderella... Oh yeah "Nobody's Fool".

How would you describe your style?

I've had people call it "Vintage Modern", which guess is kind of an oxymoron.

If you could collaborate with anyone else, who would you pick?

If he were alive, i'd have to say Jim Henson. The Muppets are pure genius.

What historical figure do you most admire?

Mr. Peanut, you just have to admire any anthropomorphic nut that can pull off the top hat and monocle look.

If you weren't designing shirts, what would you be doing?

Probably competitive eating...bring it on Joey Chestnut.

Would you rather wear pajamas or a stylish suit?

I would prefer a stylish suit made from pajamas.

Trek vs. Who: which would win the battle?

That's a tough one, if we're talking Captain Kirk i'd have to give the edge to him. He'd most likely shoot first and ask questions later, although i definitely think the Doctor could outsmart him. Man, i am such a nerd.

What is your favorite t-shirt color?

Blue. No YELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!

What has been your favorite vacation or travel experience?

Four words... "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride", greatest theme park attraction ever.
