In Part 2 of the Battlestar Galactica episode, Exodus, the Battlestar Pegasus is sacrificed to save the fleet. This moment is re-enacted through the classic board game Battleship.
Where are you from?
I grew up near Houston, Texas. The Woodlands to be exact.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I buy so many shirts between, Teefury, Shirt woot and Threadless I have to start making them just to afford the ones I want to wear. I need to get better at deciding what designs I like and what designs I'd like to wear, because there is a difference.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I am horrible at finishing t-shirt designs. There are so many half baked ideas that are left on my computer or sketch book it's kind of embarrassing.

What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I enjoyed drawing the things I played with, dinosaurs, superheroes, you know tough guy things. I remember collecting the card board backing to action figures so I could draw the different characters. There's this massive book I created of all the Ninja Turtle characters and I mean all of them. Each page is dedicated to one character and is over a inch thick. Even now, reading that thing front to back, it's interesting to see the progress I made as an artist at that age.

What is your favorite thing about Battlestar Galactica?
That may be the best series I've seen at developing characters. Though it juggles so many different personalities, nearly every single one goes through a radical metamorphosis in such a short time.

Monopoly vs. Battleship: which would win the battle?
Well, Battleship has the word battle right in its name and Monopoly has only a single canon at its disposal. Though I'm sure that mustached man has an iron grip on the war industry as well. Plus he could probably buy his way out of any confrontation.

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
Dr. Swiss by Steven Lefcourt finds its way onto may back nearly every week. A wonderfully executed design in the Dr. Seuss style combined with a simple an effective idea. Check it out over at Threadless.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
That's hard. I like doing all three. I guess video games feature both reading and watching movies at times. Picking favorite titles is impossible, it's not like picking a favorite child in that regard. Super Scribblenauts has such an amazing engine running the "write anything solve everything idea" it's a blast to play. Just yesterday I was experimenting stopping Death with torpedoes inside a purple tornado.

Definitely checking out the other styles and ideas of the various artist on these daily t-shirt sites. It's addicting seeing great ideas that make you go, "why didn't I think of that", I take it as a challenge to come up with wearable art.
