Well, everyone will be happy to know, I showed my mother this site a few weeks ago when I bought my THG shirt. She told me to keep her updated on her shows if they were to come up on shirts. And hello, Buffy. Buying.

I got the princess leia/rosie the riveter shirt that was on here a year ago. Every time I wear it somebody makes a lesbian comment...and I'm a dude. I'd have to be a much bigger buffy fan to get this.

I wish I would have gotten the Our Lady of Sunnydale shirt.....this one is a trite concept and it doesn't look like Buffy. Bummed.

The Ultimate Writer deserves a printing.

I'm so glad I saw this on tumblr! I just had to get it.

I don't mind that doesn't really look like Buffy. Come on, the details make this shirt! She's wearing her Claddah ring, there's a button that says Hellmouth Artillery with the numbers 03101997 on the bottom(which is the air date of the pilot!), it says "Mr. Pointy Production", there's a rupertgiles signature on the bottom and also Watchers Council...

I'd say this is any fan's dream shirt!

It's well-known that Whedon wrote the film. It's also well-known that the couple who bought the scteefurycopy and directed the movie botched the scteefurycopy until it was unrecognizable from what Whedon wrote.

Except that Whedon was really unhappy with the interpretation of the screenplay and he left the set during production and didn't come back because he was so annoyed at the interpretation.
So, the original movie may have been written by Whedon (and then heavily rewritten) but it isn't part of the Whedon mythos. Whedon has even stated that he does not consider the movie to be canon in the series.

I quite like the t-shirt. I love the subtle references. I probably won't buy it because I'm broke as a broke thing.

Amazing idea, seriously. Not sure about the face, it doesn't look a lot like Buffy (or SMG, I guess), but I definitely dig the details like Angel's ring and the tiny "Watcher's Council" logo. Will have to ponder this over the course of the day.

Doesn't look anything like Buffy to be honest. The only thing that let me somewhat know it was her was the stake and the quote and even with that I had to scroll down to make sure.

I prefer this Buffy shirt much more to the Lady of Sunnydale one a while back, much more for women's rights than religious connotations. My teenage daughter spent the summer watching every episode of Buffy on Netflix. We also went to Washington, DC where she bought a poster of Rosie the Riveter because she is a big history "buff". These two together in one design equals another purchase for me.

When I saw the preview of this I thought it was going to be an instabuy because I love Rosie the Riveter stuff and Buffy is one of my favorites of all time. Now that I've seen it though? I'm just not feeling it. I think it's because it doesn't really look like Buffy....

Yes Buffy did wear a claddagh in the show, for the brief time in season two while she and Angel are happily together. Angel gave it to her for her 17th birthday.

And anyone who claims that the Buffy movie is a creation of Joss Whedons’ does not understand hollywood and the context of the films creation. While Joss wrote the original screenplay, it was purchased from him by the Kuzui’s and completely rewritten to take out pretty much all of the charm, humor and sincerity out of it. This is why joss was inspired to make the show. Because he wanted to be able to do it where he would have control and the story could be told the way he wanted it.

Great job on the design!! Not my style, so it's not a buy for me. Also, please please please print The Ultimate Writer side art. That is so clever, I must have it on a shirt!

I *love, love, love* this! Honestly I'm very pleased that Buffy here does not overly resemble SMG. It's actually one of the reasons this is a MUST buy. I would much rather wear a "character shirt" than an "actor shirt". That's just me tho. I understand those who would rather have the iconic likeness....this one, however is more my style. Thanks!

Her nose kinda needs a sharper angle/point to it and some cheek bone definition but you can still tell it's Buff and it's an awesome concept!

With all due respect, I think you have this backwards. I like the Buffy movie but it's embarrassingly weak compared to the Whedon mythos, which is classic.

Except the film wasn't made they he wrote or envisioned it. The director and Studio had creative control and changed his vision into a campy joke which is why Joss made the show his way.
