Tell us a bit about this design.
This was a collaborative effort between me (Dan) and my business partner David. I came up with the idea and did the original mock up, David did the final art. I've always been a huge fan of Parody. I'm also a fan of the concept of "Mash-Ups", so this was the result. Really, this idea just popped right in there. If this were Ghostbusters, and I were confronted by Gozer, we'd have a giant Time Traveling Dodge Charger attacking our city.
Where are you from?
Originally Illinois, but I now reside in Arizona (It's So Hot Right Now), not too far from AJ's house. David: Massachusetts, Ireland, now Arizona. Probably far from AJ's house.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
My ideas are better than my ability to execute them, which is what David is helping with. AJ did not help at all!
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
That I'm being paid $1.00 for every time I mention AJ in this interview.
Name a few of your favorite things.
My boxed Kenner Alien, Jurassic Park Replica Barbasol Cryo Can, Celebrity Autograph Collection, Haunted Mansion Olzewski Statue. David: DVD collection and paintbrushes.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
Mostly stick figures at war on my school folders.
What is your favorite thing about time travel?
Sometimes at night when my buddy AJ goes to sleep, I drive to his house in my Time Traveling Nissan Sentra and bring him back in time to that morning so he has to relive that day all over again. He has no idea Ha Ha!
Vikings vs. pirates: which would win the battle?
Depends on if they are playing in Minnesota or Pennsylvania... Oh, OH dear, sorry, you mean historically. Uummm duh, Pirates have guns.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I have a Pirates of the Caribbean sports jersey with the number 67 on it. 67 being the year the ride opened at Disneyland. It's comfy.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Watching movies. When's the last time you got someone to settle on 1 movie as their favorite. Oh, alright Aliens, that'll do for now. David says Gladiator.
What inspires your work?
The way people respond to it. If people look at it and it brings a smile to their face, I've done my job. If not, I'm easily discouraged. I don't know why. Also, if AJ likes it anyone will like it. David: Something with lots of caffeine!
