Am I the only one who remembers the Nimbus and Firebolts are the names of the brooms, not the company that made them? It would be like making SNICKERS chocolate company logo :/
Other than that it's a nice design, I just wouldn't buy it because I'm a nitpicker.

If you don't like the shirt, so what? It'll be up for 24 hours, and then a new one goes up. That's the beauty of the site. They can reach fans of all kinds of different stuff. If you have a problem with teefury releasing a Harry Potter shirt on the opening day of the final movie, then you obviously know nothing about marketing and money-making. It makes perfect sense to release a Potter shirt today!

Besides, the rules of the site state to not just hate on the shirt. Try giving some real feedback.

Now, as for my feedback: I love this design! So happy to see a HP shirt that doesn't rub it in your face that it is HP. Great timing on the release, hoping you get TONS of pancakes!

to your answer about wands vs. lightsabers, many spells were casts (at least through the books) without wands, i believe it even definitively states it. p.s. i don't think nimbus made the firebolt, but i do still love this and will be buying one! with love, picky freakin geek!

Actually, most of the names of the brooms came from the names of the broom companies; Nimbus Racing Broom Co., Cleansweep Broom Co., Comet Trading Co., Westbrook Firebolt Co., etc.

Firstly, Christopher Walken should have been Voldemort. Secondly, this design is so beautifuly detailed. I want to get it, and modify the shirt to have extra layers of fabric(oh to have some kind of skill set aside from vision). Thirdly, I want that brooklyn side art on my person and wall, and I live no where near New York.

What I love most about this shirt is that it's subtle, well designed, and it doesn't say the words "Harry Potter" anywhere on it. After all, if Nimbus brooms did exist, they probably wouldn't have Harry's name on their ads. Definite buy!

I really don't care for the color, but it works well with the colors in the design.

I'm just going to be my nitpicky Harry Potter fanatic self for a moment- Nimbus probably wouldn't sponsor the Quidditch World Cup. I know in Goblet of Fire, when Harry attends the World Cup, Ireland is riding Firebolts. This also seems like the more likely choice. But I love the Nimbus design.

Love this. In for three. One for me, one the husband, and one for my mum. Mum and husband enjoy HP, but tend to favour forest colours in the clothing they wear. This is a perfect combination for the earth tone wearing HP fan.

Would love to see a Firebolts version of this shirt too.

I've been waiting for this shirt since I saw it in the newsletter. I love this. Your goal of having a Harry Potter shirt that doesn't scream "Harry Potter" has been achieved. I love Harry Potter! So glad Teefury is putting out good hp in honor of the movie :D

Please print the Poltergeist shirt! It took me a minute to recognize, but its the house from the movie and under the estate name it says phase 1

If you don't like the shirt, so what? It'll be up for 24 hours, and then a new one goes up. That's the beauty of the site. They can reach fans of all kinds of different stuff. If you have a problem with teefury releasing a Harry Potter shirt on the opening day of the final movie, then you obviously know nothing about marketing and money-making. It makes perfect sense to release a Potter shirt today!

Besides, the rules of the site state to not just hate on the shirt. Try giving some real feedback.

Now, as for my feedback: I love this design! So happy to see a HP shirt that doesn't rub it in your face that it is HP. Great timing on the release, hoping you get TONS of pancakes!

Just saw the movie today and cried like a bee-yotch.

This shirt is just plain awesome and I love that you kind of have to look at the design to get what it is (and that die-hard Potter fans will pick up on the reference almost immediately... then drool with envy because YOU own a cool HP shirt, and they don't).

I wanted to do something inspired by the Harry Potter series, but I didn't want it to shout, "Harry Potter". I like logo tshirts and thought I could do something with an object from Harry's world. I finally settled on the broomsticks they race around on.

Where are you from?

Originally Canada. All of our relatives are still up there so we visit "the great white north" quite a bit. Even though where I'm from is south of where I live now in the U.S. (and it's not Alaska).

How did you get started designing t-shirts?

It started with designing posters and then people began asking me to turn them into tshirts. From there it's been a lot of trial and error. Hopefully I'm getting better.

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?

Do something that interests you and make a design you like. Because if you don't like it, chances are not many others will either.

What would be your dream job?

To be a full-time artist for Tee Fury :)

What is your favorite thing about the Harry Potter series?

In all honesty I'd have to say it's the worldwide phenomenon that it has spurred. From an amusement park to quidditch matches being played on college campuses. Don't forget all the reading it has inspired.

What would your ideal house be like?

It would have lots of windows overlooking a lake, and a room dedicated to creating artwork on the easel and computer.

Wands vs. lightsabers: which would win the battle?

Hmmm. Wands can shoot stuff, but lightsabers can deflect that. Lightsabers can cut through wands, but you'd have to be close enough to do it. I'm going with lightsaber. Without it a jedi still has some power. Without a wand, a wizard is somewhat stuck.

What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?

Movies. The Dark Crystal. Lots of imagination went into that one.

What are a few of your favorite websites?

TeeFury.com, superpunch.blogspot.com, rampagedreality.com. The list is very long, but these three I visit daily.
