I must say, this is splendiforous. I was just feeling as though a dementor had glided into the room, and seeing this was as good as any Patronus. The Tale of the Three Brothers is my favorite of the stories of Beedle the Bard (except for maybe The Warlock's Hairy Heart), and the Deathly Hallows are favorite elements in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. Obviously, I must have this!

It's a very good idea, and it's certainly timely, but I feel the design comes off as very crowded.
The beauty of the Deathly Hallows symbol is its boldness and simplicity--I think the ribbon obstructs it too much. A short ribbon underneath- maybe just with the "Master of Death" part?- would be more elegant.
The lightning bolt and snake also overcrowd the design. They look like they were sort of tossed in at the end. I mean, I understand why they're there, but I don't think they look good where they are- it's too much stuff going on.
On the other hand, I very much like the cracks in the ribbon and the overall distressed effect.

The symbol is the "Deathly Hallows" symbol (from the 7th book 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows') if you saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 it explains it all, meaning that the Wand (straight line), Resurrection Stone (circle) and Invisibility Cloak (triangle) make up the Deathly Hallows...and whoever possess all three items is the master of death...hence the saying "Together They Make One Master of Death". :)

20 minutes left and I'm still on the fence. I really like the idea, but I'm usually of the opinion that less is more. I think this would have been an instant buy if it were just the symbol, but the words don't do it for me. Think I'm going to have to pass and hold out for another HP shirt in the future. Symbol for deathly hallows straight line- elder wans, circle- the resurrection stone, triangle- the invisibility cloak. Xenophilius Lovegood draws it out for them in chapter twentyone, the illustration of which is at the beginning of that chapter.

Tell us the background of this design.

It's an ode to the awesome series of Harry Potter. With the final movie coming out soon (or it may have already been released, I have no idea when this interview is posted), I thought I'd do my own little tribute. I enjoyed the books and movies so much from the start to finish.

Where are you from? 
I'm from the Netherlands and I currently live in a small town called Uden.

What has been your most adventurous moment?

The time I went down the rabbit hole. Magical times for sure. talking card-people, a crazy person in a weird hat, a disappearing cat. They should make a movie out of this stuff. Maybe I should make a design from this. I might just already be working on this ;)

What has been the most valuable advice you've been given?

"If you want to survive out here, you've got to know where your towel is."

If you had a theme song, what would it be?

Something like Peter Griffin has in that one episode of Family Guy. Except for the part where he gets his ass kicked for not being able to turn it off, haha.

What is your favorite thing about cartoons?

All the crazy stupid nonsensical stuff that happens. I love completely random weird stuff.

Zelda vs. Mario: which would win the battle?

Zelda, easily. F*ck being a flying raccoon and shooting fireballs, go swords and boomerangs!

Describe the strangest shirt you own.

Not that strange, but kinda gore-filled, which is something I don't really wear. I think it's a Zombie Liqourice shirt, with some kind of mummy-zombie popping out of a box like a jack-in-a-box (is that what it's called?). Bones, guts, blood, the whole shebang.

What would be your dream project to work on?

Illustrating some stuff for something huge like Coca Cola. That would be sweet. Another thing would be doing the art for an indie game.
