Imagine, if you will, in the late 1800's, spectres and spooks have taken to cause terror amidst the streets of New York.

Upon whom shall you call?

These are Ghostbusters of the Steampunk variety.

Where are you from?

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with a small stint in a cozy town called Chickasha, Oklahoma, where I went to college.

How did you get started designing t-shirts?

I had done the 'It's a Trap' design for a friend, and later found out it went viral on Tumblr! A friend told me to submit it to Teefury, because they wanted a shirt of it so badly. Not having messed with anything like it, I took a chance and submitted it to Teefury, and they used it, going on to sell a crazy amount of shirts that day! It's been a shirt romance since. :)

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?

Work hard and don't give up! I'm sure people notice that not everyone likes every design, but there are people who will LOVE your design. There is an audience out there for your designs and you will find them if you keep putting yourself out there to be seen. I was forty before I found mine. Did I say I was forty out loud?

What would be your dream job?

This is my dream job! I love designing shirts and making awesome things to sell as posters and stickers! I will say that I have always wanted to write and illustrate my own graphic novels, and am currently working on one to pitch to publishers.

What is your favorite thing about Ghostbusters?

I will always love the movies, but right now, I am getting a kick from all the fans that make their own uniforms and transform their own vehicles into modified Ectos. Suh-weet!

What would your ideal house be like?

I love the home I'm in, and if it were paid off, that would be ideal.

History vs. historical fiction: which would win the battle?

Please....... historical fiction. Only because things would get invented that will turn the tide of anything in history. Although, maybe not, if it's another Steampunk-Nerf gun that's invented. :)

What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?

I had an equal amount of love for all three. Transformers ruled my comic book and cartoon world, while Star Wars ruled my movie world.

What are a few of your favorite websites?

I always have tabs up for Teefury, Tumblr and Grooveshark, and am constantly on DeviantArt looking at art and ComingSoon.Net for all the latest movie news.

Shouts go to Ryan McKinley, co-author of the first book I illustrated, The Pirate Bride (www.thepiratebride.com), for inspiring me to create the Spectral Smashers design, to Rick from the Central Oklahoma Ghostbusters, for making me my very own Ghostbuster uniform, and to all the awesome people who have supported my art from the get go!
