HoneyBadger Don't Care
About the artistArt curated by
Tell us a bit about this design.
It features a honey badger not caring. Wearing this shirt will tell the world that you have no fear of cobra venom or bee stings; you take what you want.
Where are you from?
Currently the beautiful city of Eugene Oregon.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I'm down to do some freelance stuff. Especially for bands.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
Maybe my social security number, but they seem like an honest lot.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Bears (animals), Moleskine notebooks, bicycles, creepy taxidermy, old books, old advertising, carrot cake.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
I drew a lot of intricate war scenes during church, stick figure army men being bombed by awesome multi-winged aircraft and the such. I still draw such scenes, but it seems there is no market for it.
What is your favorite thing about honey badgers?
They're pretty badass.
History vs. Science: which would win the battle?
Well history always repeats, so it's pretty predictable. Science could potentially travel back in time and really mess history up, so I'm going to say science, no contest.
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
I really like an old shirt my mom got me a long time ago. It is a blue Kansas tourist shirt with an iron-on patch of a hot air balloon on the back. I guess I like it because of associated memories and the fact that it has the comfort you can only get by washing a shirt 5,000 times.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
I like doing all three. Book: Watership Down, Movie: Big Lebowski, Game: Civ 4.
What inspires your work?
Coffee. Artists like James Jean, Matthew Woodson and Ray Frenden. 19th-century engravings and prints are also huge influences.
Any shout outs?
