Tell us about this design.
I used to love Mario Kart for SNES when I was a kid, and recently (well, a few years ago, but still) got back into it on the DS. The blue shell is annoying and cheap, the green one is useful mostly for keeping it behind your back, but the red one wins races. I was playing it one night and sent it towards a friend and had the idea.

Where are you from?
São Paulo, Brazil.

How did you get started designing t-shirts?
I started a few years ago, for a Brazilian shirt design contest. Since then I've been working with illustrations for shirts but also for a ton of other stuff.

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
Take initiative.

What would be your dream job?
I have my dream job, being my own boss and doing whatever I want. I guess it would be more dreamy if I got paid about 10 times more for stuff.

What is your favorite thing about turtles?
I used to have a turtle, I like how they try to bite your finger sometimes.

What would your ideal house be like?
With lots of space and one of those things where cats can roam around the house freely.

Kittens vs. puppies: which would win the battle?
Kittens. Puppies are stronger but they are too nice and trusting.

What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?
Comics, X-men most of all.
