About the artist
Tell us a bit about this design.
I was home from college for a weekend, and my Mom said she had an errand to run, but needed to stop at the MAC machine first. At first I was like O_o....but then I was like ^-^
Where are you from?
When I'm not at school at the University of Delaware, I'm home in a small town called North Wales, which is in the fine state of Pennsylvania. We have one traffic light, and some of the best cheesesteaks you will ever try.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
Now that I've gotten one design printed, I'll be working even harder to make more designs that people will enjoy! As for my designs, a lot of my ideas are video game related, with a few nods to 90s children's television shows in the works.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I put this particular design together in around 30 minutes.
Name a few of your favorite things.
Well I love video games, and I also enjoy keeping active by running and going to the gym. Other hobbies of mine include watching and making movies, playing ultimate frisbee, waterskiing, and so many other things. Also long walks on beaches.
What kind of art did you make as a kid?
Took some basic art classes as a kid during the summer, but my school didnt really have an art program. Then in high school I really started to get into photo and video, which is what I'm doing now, along with graphic design and such. I'd love to work on movies some day. Check out my Youtube channel if you like! Same username!
What is your favorite thing about Macs?
Money Access Centers? Quick and convenient access to money. Hate when there is a surcharge though....OH you meant the other ones...Apple customer service. I get the concept behind it; our value as lifetime customers is worth it, but I still appreciate a company that goes out of its way to be polite and helpful to customers. Makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside.
Sports vs. videogames: which would win the battle?
Tough call...I'm inclined to vote for video games...but if you were to pit the fans up against each other...Both teams have cosplayers (you see people in jerseys and goofy sports outfits ALL THE TIME), both have members that can rattle off stats and facts like there is no tomorrow...and both have fans that criticize those involved of not doing a good enough job when they couldn't come anywhere close. A tough call, for sure. xD
Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.
Probably my "Body By Nintendo" shirt, which I got when we made a trip up to Nintendo's store in New York. I do my best to keep an active lifestyle, so in that sense, I love the irony. If it ever stops being ironic, then I'm in trouble.
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Oh man, this is tough. I enjoy all three, but I definitely spend the most time gaming. I'm a big supporter of games evolving as an artistic medium, and achieving the respectability of other entertainment mediums such as movies. As for a favorite...drawing from what I just said, I'm going to have to go with BioWare's Mass Effect series.
What inspires your work?
I'm inspired by my friends, my hobbies, and generally my day to day life. A lot of my design ideas get thought up while I'm conversing with my friends. Either that, or brainstorming just before I fall asleep....after which I forget them in the morning...sigh.
Any shout outs?
To my friends and fellow classmates in the VC major at UD: come on guys...if I could come up with a good idea to get printed, you all DEFINITELY could!
