A family member had to turn down a job in the scenic design department on one of the early Indiana Jones movies, I was thinking about that and in particular a scene from 'Temple of Doom' and this T-shirt developed from there. I imagined that the delicacies were produced, packaged and advertised to Westerners shortly after 1935 and there you have it.
Where are you from?
Kingston-Upon-Thames and I currently reside in Surbiton (UK).
How did you get started designing T-shirts?
I always liked making images and I thought T-shirts would be the perfect canvas to show some work off to the world.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
What would be your dream job?
Freelancing from home, like I do now, but be careful what you wish for.
What is your favorite thing about Harrison Ford?
That he’s been in some of the best movies of all time.
What would your ideal house be like?
Modern, big windows, Garden with a BBQ, fortified against zombies, with robot legs so that I have the option to move about.
Dinner vs. dessert: which would win the battle?
I’d have to support Dinner, I don’t have a sweet tooth. Would that be a Custard vs Meat Pie fight!
What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was there a specific title you liked most of all?
Movies. The excitement of seeing stuff like ‘Gremlins’ for the first time was awesome.
What are a few of your favorite websites?
