About the artistArt curated by
Tell us a bit about this design.
As a child, I was always suspicious Mario had a serious power-up problem. Given their similar habits, it just made sense to mash up him up with everyone's favorite gonzo journalist.
Where are you from?
Born and raised in New York.
What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
That I love having the opportunity to create art for a living, and am truly appreciative of anyone that buys a shirt.
What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
My entire wardrobe is slowly being replaced by shirts I designed.
Name a few of your favorite things
My fiancee Christina, my cats, comic books, video games, going to concerts, warm woolen mittens...
Which city is your favorite and why?
It's cliche, and I'm biased, but New York City is always a good time. It's filled with so many great museums, restaurants, bars, etc...
Mario vs. Luigi: which would win the battle?
I was never opposed to playing as Luigi, and as a younger brother it happened quite a bit. But I'll leave this picture from Halloween as my answer. I'm the one on the right http://i.imgur.com/DmAfk.jpg
Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.
Reading is probably the most rewarding for me. It's so hard to choose a favorite book. Maybe Dune or Slaughterhouse-Five. No wait, probably Twilight.
What inspires your work?
Inspiration can come from literally anywhere, but music always helps me get into a creative mood.
Any shout outs?
I have a few screen prints, paintings and random things for sale on my Etsy. http://www.etsy.com/shop/paintandpixels If you buy something, I tend to throw in some extras too...
Also, my brother has a really cool game for the iphone/ipad that you can check out here: Orbital Bombardment itunes://itunes.apple.com/us/app/orbital-bombardment/id383270790?mt=8
Finally, I'd like to thank anyone who buys a shirt and a big thank you to TeeFury!
