Where are you from?
I live in sleepy, leafy green Somerset in the UK although I'm originally from nearer London. Is it normal to feel nostalgic about noise and traffic fumes?
How would you describe your style?
Uh-oh, well I guess "eclectic" would be accurate. I'm a bit of a chameleon. When I have an idea it tends to come with its own style so I change all the time. I do have a few cartoony styles that I revisit, like this one. I'm more interested in making things that have a sense of energy and character than establishing a Spiritgreen-style, although maybe I'll get there by accident someday.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who would you pick?
I've been designing shirts for nearly a year now and I'm feeling a bit more confident about bringing something of value to a collaboration. I would really like to do it. I'm a big fan of herky (lucky1988)'s style and sense of fun, and I've talked to some other very creative, talented cartoony designers about maybe trying an idea together soon - marzipanapple, bassanimation. ::waving::
What historical figure do you most admire?
Mark Twain was an amazing humorist and satirist and also a vocal proponent of civil rights, science and free thinking. Although he may not have been a political or military figure, he had a strong influence on the history of America that I really admire. Also he was great in that one episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. What a guy.
If you weren't designing shirts, what would you be doing?
I'd still be trying to finish the indie game I've been working on for the past 5 years. It's either a work of genius or madness... okay, madness. It's an epic, fantasy-puzzle game about wizards. I've made a thousand puzzles, written a very long script and drawn hundreds of character portraits and backgrounds but have a ridiculously long way to go. Yes, I'd still be going quietly insane trying to finish it. Thanks t-shirts!
Would you rather play a board game or invent one?
It's more fun to invent one, isn't it? I once made a videogame board where you start out as a pixel and have to work your way through different games to become human. ... it was probably more fun to make than play.
Lost vs. Nintendo: which would win the battle?
Lost was great for six years. Nintendo is for life!
What is your favorite t-shirt color?
Green. :-)
What has been your favorite vacation or travel experience?
I've spent a lot of time in the United States and wherever I go I feel strangely at home. Paris and Barcelona are wonderful and culturally invigorating - The Musée d'Orsay, Gaudi's Parc Güell - but I don't speak enough French or Spanish to ever really relax. Maybe at heart I'm just a theme park and pizza joint kinda guy.

Gotta give a shout out to my girlfriend who doesn't just suffer me being a huge videogame geek - she actually spends most of her time making art and crafts inspired by videogames herself. Yes, I'm living the dream. ^__^ (She's: www.arcade-art.com)
