According to Pulp Fiction, this is what they call the quarter pounder in Europe.
Which art style would you most like to learn?
I've always been into learning other art styles and trying out different looks, but at this point I've done enough of that and I'm more into just working on my own style.
If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
I'd go to the 1920s for the prohibition/speakeasy thing. I like doing things that make me feel sneaky but don't actually hurt anyone. Oh, look at me, I'm having a drink. Scandalous!
What goal do you most aspire towards?
Making good art, what else?
If you could stop any t-shirt trend in its tracks, which would you end? What trend would you like to see started?
This won't win me any friends, but I'd get rid of the skulls/monsters/vampire trend, just because I don't wear that type of shirt. And I'd replace it with beautiful, enchanting ladies surrounded by birds and kittens.
Would you rather be lucky or smart?
Lucky. The less you think, the happier you are.
The beach vs. the ocean: which would win the battle?
I think that's an actual battle (erosion?) and the ocean is winning for sure. The beach even has people trying to help it out, save the ocean from taking it away, but it doesn't matter. The score is like Ocean: a million, Beach: zero.
Describe the first shirt you ever designed.
The theme was Around the World With Books and it was for a school contest. I think I was in 3rd grade. I had a bunch of books in a circle and each one was dressed like it was from a different country. It was extremely stereotypical and probably a little offensive. White shirt, maroon ink, school colors. My prize was a free sweatshirt and a terrible photo of myself in the shirt for the school paper. So I just realized I can say I won the first shirt contest I ever entered. Sweet.
What has been your most inspiring art experience?
That month I spent in Paris visiting the Louvre everyday and watching the sparkling pink sunlight dance upon the... Oh wait, that never happened.
